its not buying new that puts me off, I don't mind the premium you pay and depreciation hit you need to take, its buying new Renaults that bother me purely down to the amount they loose that can be massively reduced by buying else where!
my 3 F4R's (ph1 172, ph2 172 and mk3 200) have never used a drop, they say there is 1L between minimum and max on the dipstick, and my 3 all used half the dip stick between 10k oil changes, so half a litre in 10k miles.
I know the tolerance is 1 litre per 1000 miles but if your anywhere near...
ive been looking at them but I just cant justify the cash for one, be interesting to see what sort of dealer discounts etc are available.
id personally prefer a meg 265 but £31k with the "must have" options for me is comical for a Renault, especially when a nice 250 granted not with the same...
it may just be me, but after all this 5 door ranting, am I the only one who looks at the fiesta ST and thinks it would look better with 5 doors?!!! lol
need to find something that fits now! I had a focus ST one but its just too big and no more, I don't want to start chopping the bumper and grill to bits and that was what I was going to have to do.
im going to do the same drive I done lastnight to get the figures I measured but this time with...
ive bought all 3 of my RS clios without driving them, isn't an issue for me, as they never disappoint.
this one however id probably want a shot due to how "different" it is with the box and engine, just to make sure I get on with it
Looking for a bit of input guys, when considering inlet temperatures and intercooler choice, generally what is the ideal sort of figures your looking for, ambient temp + ???
im running around ambient temp + 25-30 degrees C and this to me seems very hot!?
be interesting to see what dealers let them go for, I paid something like 15k or there abouts for my 200 non cup with a few options, and sold it 10 months later for 11k, granted that was never part of the plan or id never have gone brand new but I agree one of these would be financial suicide...
it aint too bad when you consider you could pick them up for 15k if you shopped about! its the people that paid over the odds that suffer, and with possibly limited discount to begin with on these new models that could be dangerous!
im very close to ordering one, im just hanging off first to...
my local dealer has a liquid yellow pre reg with delivery millage and cup chassis for £13,995 no recaros though but that's window price theres probably a massive chunk available off that!
more Renault dealer/RUK issues lol!!
in my experience you have 2 options, either get yourself a good lawyer and go down that route, or forget it, put up with being treated like s**t and having a car that doesn't work properly and then sell it loosing a fortune.
