Yeah I can believe that! Stainless ones are £££ though so I'll probably stick to the zinc ones. I didnt paint them as I saw no point as the installation of the rivnuts would just damage it all anyway. I'm working on the basis that the dynax will create a protective layer and seep in. I still...

I've only gone to M6 on it so far, but I'm sure it'll handle the M8 absolutely fine. Arms are just long enough that you can get enough leverage but not too big they dont fit anywhere.

It's this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NVLM5CQ/?tag=cliospnet01-21 And then I bought the rivnuts from kayfast, got zinc plated ones.

So carrying on from last week, I wasnt happy with using the nyloc nuts and bolts so I bought a rivnut tool and some M5 rivnuts to run along the length of the sill. Drilled out the holes to 7mm and then placed the rivnuts in the holes, absolute dream to use and super satisfying! Did this on both...

That's a bummer. Is he still offering the 'preload' version? I can't say I ever knew what that meant as you can't pre-load a spherical bearing? They're not designed to work how they are anyway so always fail prematurely because of the loading! And no worries, doesn't take long at all and still...

I really rate the KTEC ones. Did you take note of the PMS bearing size before fitting them? I know the KTEC ones are genuine SKF which is a little bonus, oem renault specs. I reckon if i was buying new I would go the same and buy the PMS, everything i've heard about Nick is fantastic so i'd...

Great update Mark, glad you finally got sorted on the PMS top mounts. The new aluminium design looks far superior! Very similar to the KTEC ones now. Do you think you'll be getting the pms front strut brace?

After finding a screw in my tyre last week I nipped to the local tyre place and had it repaired. Only a tenner, bargain. I'll need tyres soon anyway but not worth it whilst in lockdown. Currently on 2.5mm at the front. Will also be taking my oz f1s over for the tyres removing and the balance...
