I got a load of bargains. Wheels and tyres were £200 for example, genuine STi aluminium bonnet + painting cost me £100. Tein lowering springs were about £80 used with WRX shocks and the carbon diffuser was a 'second' from the HT Autos factory. Borla replica manifold came from USA for £160...

I had an N/A (lol) when I was 19. Bought it completely standard, which looked shocking. Did all the work myself and ended up swapping it for a 172. IMO it looked and sounded f**king brilliant though.

Ahh I wish I'd never opened this thread :dapprove: what's it like on MPG? I had a Blobeye N/A (lol) when I was 19, it was the loudest thing in the entire world and got 24mpg no matter how you drive it. Handled and gripped amazingly as you've said though.

Got the centre silencer put back on the Milltek. Completely fell in love with the car again straight away... subtle sound is the way forward.

Go back and get another ;) mine got keyed when it was on my tailgate, I went all the way back and bought another.

Perhaps a smaller one underneath the numberplate would look decent, the boot isn't really big enough to accomodate decals IMO.

I'd personally use the same colour as the car... You will need to sand/flatten, primer and lacquer like any other spray job.

Where are people getting the alcantara fabric from in the appropriate colour? Two samples I received were too light and black, respectively.
