I have watched the video to the end watched it last night which is why I knew where to find it
To quote you.........
"the focus ST also uses overboost feature - this is what enabled it to beat the Astra VXR and Megane (which both have more power) in a straight line".
Clearly it didn't ;) oops...
Not complaining I just haven't seen anywhere over here with official figures stating 200PS, what people choose to drive is up to them and I'm sure they will be very happy with their choice.
(still warm when the competition is moving on) ;)
They need to up the power mechanically over there as their fuel is crap 83 octane (and that was at a shell garage) thought 95 was the lowest.
If the car does produce that, then it'll be the deal of the century considering it's about 2K+ less than the Clio or 208
Piston Heads :nono:
Which official publication is this written down in as there is nothing in the brochure with regards to 200bhp - you don't understate a car when the competition have released there own 200PS next generation cars.
Official Ford figure 0-62 6.9 secs (quicker than the 182 and on...
At what point does the ST produce 200bhp it produces 182PS which is 179bhp as in the 182 Clio, the only thing the fiesta has got for it is it produces the same amount of torque. Or have I missed something along the way?
(it's still a warm hatch as the hot hatch market is still ahead of it by at...
When doing around 25k a year mileage wise pcp is no use what so ever when the yearly mileage is restricted. Like I said cars are for driving and not just a trip to the local shops.
Sorry we all haven't got 23k in cash floating about and if I did the other half would have it spent on a wedding. For the price I'm paying I could sell it back to the garage and make a profit. The monthly repayments don't affect my way of life just reduces monthly savings so I'm quite willing to...
Yes quoting myself, how sad.
Having had a look at the figures when the paperwork came in binned their finance offer as it was most definitely not the 5% apr they splash over the front of their site. No wonder they wouldn't tell me the APR borrow 14k and then payback 21k, I think not. Hello...
Taking a wild guess here, but I'd say those that prefer the looks of the Fiesta are probably under 30 and those who the look of the CLio is growing on are over 30 ie 5 doors family appeal as apposed to Single or young couple no kids.........
Wasn't happy with the looks of the CLio RS front when...
If you're looking to change your car that often that you need to worry about the price drop buy second hand that way it's not as bad. I think having owned my 182 from new over nearly 8 years of ownership I've had my monies worth out of it and lots of fun along the way.
Some buy a car to use...
Yes 421's are still fitted :D along with solid engine and gearbox mounts. When the time comes to sell it it will be selling for 3 different prices depending on what gets thrown in with it spare alloys, spoilers V6, Cup standard spoilers, JMS V6 induction and stnadard air boxes, steering wheels...
On my third steering wheel except had this one recovered by snappy, even the renault dealer admired the stitching right before the smack in the mouth saying he'd give me £800 for the car :clown:
No thanks I'd get more for it selling it as parts and for that price it would be going back to...
Oily fingers lol my buttons on my 8 year old 182 haven't peeled and I get 35 to the gallon in town and can get 42 on the motorway at a casual 64mph its all about how heavy your right foot is. So I for one, am looking forward to when my 200t is ready for collection.
The blue isn't Racing blue...
The haynes manual will do for the majority of the car just not the engine, the engine is covered in the Pocket Mechanic Vehicle Manual which has came in handy for a few things.
Try ebay for both books or as above get someone to send you the pdfs.
Renault are calling it French blue - I don't think they are making blue an option let alone Racing Blue for the 200T, the only colour options I've seen are Deep Black, Flame (Red), Glacier White, Mercury (Silver) and Liquid Yellow.
Spotted tonight VA60HAE tear arsing up the 40 stretch behind me to brake hard at the round about to turn towards blakelaw. Sounded ok still looked nice and clean.
Part financing plus I got a very good price - if i had that much cash about the other half would be wanting to spend it on a wedding - its all about priorities and she keeps telling me I have mine all wrong maybe she's right but the car doesn't sit in a strop and not tell you why it's in a strop...
With so many haters on here, just how many other individuals out there because there are a lot of quiet ones too, are actually going to be buying the Clio 200T or even the Mk IV version?
It will be good to see some new shapes colours and what people will have no doubt done to them in the media...
