Any good garages in Newcastle area that can sort out timing. Car is fitted with cat cam 421's and was remapped by KTec so unless Benfield wiped that when they changed the belt it shouldn't need remapping just the cams being set back up to meet the map
Otherwise looking at a trip to RS tuning
Just had both belts changed at the main dealers. Car is now feeling under powered and has hesitated a couple of times in fifth gear almost like a flutter or heart palpitation for want of a better description. Also it's ticking when accelerating whether manual with the foot or on cruise control...
Well belts getting done should make it easier to sell when the new one is finally delivered, but might keep it going until after the winter seeing as I've got winter wheels for it
First time seen the Artic off the drive every other time I've gone past it's been parked up, usually on a Friday. The Campus might have just been visiting as not seen it there before, but then might have just been the wrong time of day.
Seen loads of RS Clio's yesterday, sods law when I'm not in...
All RS Dealers are supposed to have them by the 25th of this month according to RUK - some none RS dealers already have them in their showrooms (not necessarily a demo car though). If your local RS dealers isn't getting one until September doesn't say a great deal about their enthusiasm for the...
Don't go any where near one :nono: as you know you'll regret choosing the dated looking ST :sleepy:over the fresh all new Clio :D and then you'll be thinking, well £3.5K wasn't really that much more and I could have saved up the difference buy the time it actually comes to parting with the cash. ;)
Already asked this bit on the renault sport forum unfortunately you can't spec any colours it's anthracite only on the RS model so you'll have to take the bits you want colouring to your local body shop unless you have the means to donut yourself
That's 2 black RS Clios ordered then was hoping...
More along the lines of where abouts on the A1 seeing as it goes from London to Edinburgh in one guise or another (A1 - A1(M))
Photo would of helped in the OP
Have pulled the sensor out and the revs soared some I'm assuming that's working but ill have a price check to see if its cheap enough to buy one and try or as you say find someone close with another clio
My 182 has just started to play up; when sat at idle the car revs are just above 2200rpm, this then fluctuates back to around 1500rpm with excessive cycling of the throttle (with out me touching it). It's drivable almost normal except when slowing down and the revs remain high making it sound...
There's no problem there, working just the way they are supposed to work. Switching the car off resets the "ECU / computer / Sensor / what ever it is thingy ma-bob" so you need to move the lever up and then back down one simples.
If you were lazy you'd switch every thing off before getting out...
Not interested in lap times but that seems to be the be all end all on here.
The keyboard heroes believe renault has lost the plot, I think they have come up with something fresh which a lot of people seem to disagree with even with the styling it does stand out from the standard car or are...
