You mean where the cat meets the manifold? On the 182s, there's 'supposed' to be a gap. It's normal. You have to clamp it together using mole grips before screwing the nuts and bolts in sometimes though. This may be different on a 172!

It was worth trying, it might have looked amazing but you'd never know until you fitted it! Keep up the good work :)

Littering is an offence and carries a hefty fine, for all those that have admitted to doing it and tried justifying it.
