Doesn't make much if any difference performance wise, although if you want abit more induction noise, remove the acoustic valve.

LOL. I thought there was a problem the 1st time I jacked mine up when that happened. Handy though when you're swapping the wheels from back to front.

+1 I wondered what the hype was until I drove my mates Trophy. Although I did find the Recaros uncomfortable.

Keeping it stealth is the best way on 172s IMO. Also if you do cut in to the bumper it means if you ever decided to put the car back to standard it's a new rear bumper job.

Really like them, match the car and interior well. Did you get them off someone on here? Think I remember when they came up for sale.

Re: Jealous scummy low-life w**kers. Cheers mate. Mate who use to do panel beating and spraying is going to have ago at it with my touch up pen and a buffer on Sunday. I'll see how that comes out 1st and if it's reasonable I'll leave it like that for the time being.
