I was last out and I didn't get pulled so I don't think anyone from the meet got pulled? Hopefully not anyway. Great turn out though, be interesting to some photos too.
Re: n/w meeting
7.30pm at B&Q, WA2 8RD (Then will decide weather we go to the Swan Pub or wherever etc)
seeing as there's abit of confusion on what time, let's stick to the original plan :rasp: lol
They really look good don't they? really comfy too, I'd really love a set but I can't justify spending £££s on them, shame really because I really do think they improve the look of the interior drastically.
Oh and Ben, we'll know if you're coming because we'll be able to hear you when you're...
It's been fine since I posted this thread typically lol. Rang my mum as she has o2 broadband as well and she's been having problems as well, so you might be correct there.
Re: n/w meeting
There's a burger king right next to B&Q.
There is a pub (the swan) just round the corner from B&Q with a huge car park. As quoted by Foxy(Jord) ;)
Talking of ABS, never experienced the ABS system in the 1*2s but in other cars I really disliked it because of that horrible vibrating feeling you got through the pedal, personally it made me inclined to take my foot off the pedal.
Really easy to do mate. Just one bolt to remove at the bottom of the shocker that fits in to the hub (can be abit of pain to remove if they've not been removed for a while) and the nut at the top of the shocker where it comes in to the boot.
Thanks Daz.
I've bit the bullet and ordered some discs and pads and I'll fit them once they've arrived, I'll see how that goes and then I'll decide if I'll go for the braided lines and Castrol Super brake fluid.
Anyone have any issues today with it?
Mine keeps playing up, was without an internet connection for about 2 hours earlier, it's come back now but now and then I keep losing connection.
Tried ringing tech support but the phones lines are busy, was on hold for 30 minutes without speaking to...
That's the thing isn't it? You could spend ££££'s on various things, plus I'd end up having to pay someone to fit braided lines because I haven't a clue how to bleed brakes lol.
Yeah I do appreciate the DS2500 will fade eventually but these GreenStuff pads are terrible for it, I'd say after...
Yeah that was me mate, complaining about those crappy GreenStuff pads lol.
I got a really good quoted price from Pete at AutoNation for a set of DS2500 pads and HC discs. Just contemplating what to do.
I think it was on here where I've seen someone say it, was the 1st time I'd heard of it as well.
I might just change the pads and if I'm still having problems I'll change the discs as well. The discs don't look that bad to be honest, plus they're drilled discs too.
Looking at changing the brake discs and pads soon on my Cup because the pads currently fitted to my car really can't handle enthusiastic driving, they get hot and fade and I'm left with very poor braking performance (not that I drive "enthusiastically" on a regular basis ;)).
Question is, it's...
While we was in the pub car park, I was watching one cyclists pedaling up the hill, it took him 10 minutes to get up it and he looked absolutely shattered lol.
