Lol. When I tried to get a quote with my insurance for an 04 plate 172 they asked if it was a 182 cup or just a 182. I explained it was just a late registered 172 but they wouldn't have it and were adamant I was wrong.
I've been tempted to go down this route but heard loads of stories about them knocking £££s off the online valuation for minor things.
Really they want you to buy a car from them and will probably offer you the full online valuation if you do. Not that any sane person would buy a car from...
Induction wise I'd personally stick with the airbox and buy an uprated panel filter i.e ITG. I had a Viper on mine although it sounded pretty good it restricted power because it's difficult trying to find a decent place for your CAF without cutting holes in your lower grill or losing a fog light.
Mine does the exact same thing but it's been like that for most of the time I've had the car (6 months). It's more noticeable as the revs die down after revving quite high. I haven't had any other issues related to it, up to now anyway (touch wood). I've also heard other RS's doing it as well.
I didn't actually mean the belt, I meant the alternator it's self. I've heard they start whining when they're due to fail. It was just an assumption by the way.
Most I've had it mine was about 10 packs of laminate flooring, two rolls of underlay and my tool box. Not as packed as some of the photos up there in this thread but it was heavy and performance was hindered due to it lol
Black cars look stunning when they're clean and shiny like yours in those pictures but like you say they need so much attention because if you go out for a drive or it rains it's filthy again. lol
Gorgeous motors these. Those white wheels look mint too.
I use to share the same opinion but I saw the mk2 FRS in the flesh for the 1st time on Thursday and my view has changed lol.
Ahhh right. It was just my personal opinion that, if I'd paid quite alot for something I want it to be on show lol.
If that's what you like then I'd go for it :)
Is that the one you bought off a member off here and when you got it home there was a massive hole in the gear box? and lol at it caked in all that dust.
Cheers mate!
If I do change cars chances are it'll be a down grade to honest. I'm not considering swapping my Cup for this orange gti though, I wouldn't touch another heavily modified car again after the last one I bought died on me.

Is it wrong I actually quite like it? lol
It's way to modified for me though as I'd be looking for something a little more standard.
