ill never own another 2nd hand car
does the r series have the metal hinges like the T series? Yeah they r pretty bomb proof apart from some t4x series machines have ati gpu issues un soldering themselfs and t61p's before a certain date have nvidia gpu issues too
Nokia N8 now its had its price drop, £280 i think amazon were doing them for, stick a monthly rolling contract in it for £10-£15 a month or what ever suits ur needs. Best phone ive owned. really fancy upgrading to the Lumia but they are still pricey just for the handset (although i paid around...
doing it on a budget people like to paint the door badges or the front renault badge, silver vision indicator bulbs to get rid of the orange glow in the lights (they still flash orange)
personally i would just keep it nice and clean and well looked after, maby have the wheels refurbished a...
im a Thinkpad *****, i love them, i always buy 2nd hand a few years later though apart from my current machine i bought new. I currently have here we go lol....
IBM T23 (my first laptop, just never got round to selling it, i maxed it out spec wise about 6yrs ago a mighty 1.2GHz PIII-M with 1GB...
depends what happens with my servicing package, im not sure if it will be updated to reflect this or not, id imagine it probably will. when is the law being introduced?
my servicing package replaces only like for like tyres, i have no say what goes on them, just 195/50/16 michelin energy something or other. if i want to put a set of winter tyres on i have to purchase them, have them fitted then once winter is over have them changed back over to my standard...
i never said i saved it, im not £500 worse off by buying a set of tyres that i dont need, my car came supplied with a set of tyres which im still using, i dont see the point in removing them to fit a set of winter tyres.
ive never priced up a set of snow tyres but thanks to my car running a dodgey size of tyres a fitted set of 4 cost me over £600, im bassing my cost on that
EDIT: a fitted set of the factory supplied tyres thats ment to say sorry
your car was out of control or you were not in control of the car?
im not a weather expert i wouldnt imagine our snow is much different, maby were just used to it? ive yet to come across an issue with controling my car in it
because for me, in winter a car is about getting to and from work and thats all its for. i leave a bit earlier when it snows, take my time and get there just as safely as i would in the summer! pulling G's off the traffic lights with my winter tyres doesnt sound like fun, so i keep the £500+ in...
of couse they give better grip, they are designed to. Toyo R888's are designed to give brilliant grip in the summer, doesnt mean your cars unsafe if your running something cheaper and lower spec.
im with danny, the last 2 winters and especially last winter have been terrible up here with...
best bet is going 2nd hand due to the above, also price up a 2nd hand hard drive in what ever size you need and a cheap enclosure.
you considered an upgrade to 7 rather than a down(upgrade!) to XP from vista? you would be surprized how well 7 runs on older hardware. i tried it on my old IBM T40...
LOL thats the sort of challenge i like! i changed a clutch for a boy who was on a tight budget, 2nd hand clutch and done it without taking the shaft out the box and draining the oil lol!!
im currently doing a top end rebuild on a 1.2 16v due to this, turns out the car im doing hasnt been serviced in 6yrs 60k miles lol
EDIT: the dipstick is snapped too so god know how much or what the oil is like in it!
