i think im right in saying u dont just want to bore it out, u need to make sure that u keep swirl to prevent the air and fuel from separating. And if u start to bore it out a lot, then u will loose ur torque?
im not an expert lol, correct me if im wrong!
I can get inlets matched for 100 quid. Close mate of mine builds race engines, he had a look at mine, and matched them for me.
Worked for Anderson race engines, and now works for JB race engines.
He will also do heads for 300 each, which includes bead blasting and acid dipped. Skimming will...
Its my mate, he lives in teignmouth, he has a trophy but it is currently at k-tec getting ITBs, we are picking it up on tuesday.
He is a member on here ( Maybs 71 )
That twingo is sooo much fun!!!
Thought it would be funny to put it into reverse at traffic lights and jumped his car backwards pretending to reverse into me. Nice Cliosport.net sticker in the rear window. Hope u feel that u achieved a lot.... of that was before burning it off into the 30 zone at whatever speed.
Well done.
i dont think the temp is taken by the water, its taken by the oil, so although the gauge may say the engine is warm... thats water temp and the oil temp may not quite be up to temp. which means the limiter will cut in early.
correct me if im wrong someone, thankyou please
I removed all of the acoustic valve etc and put a cold air feed in, the cold air feed is not fully connected to the fog light hole but it can be seen if u get down :)
The arch liners will be out soon!
But just when i have some time!!
That would be appriciated mate, i have none of me in that...
u dont have to be old to know how to drive ;)
But that does seem to be the general trend!
Deffinatly get a clio, just means when u put ITB's on it with a set of AST coiloverss.... it will be cheaper to insure than before :D
they are Ford Graphite Grey, i referbed them myself with spray cans!
we couldnt figure out what it was, but didnt take enough to the track for spares brake wise as we never have had problems before!!
I was the driver of the C2 and that silver clio with darker rims is mine! The silver 172 is pritty standard, he is a member on here, but said he very rarely comes on.
The clio cup had a lot of potential but they dont know anything about the car, they havnt touched, tracking or suspension set...
Yeah white one mate, he got the ITB conversion for just over 1k, including the omex 600...?? that was all in.
I wish i knew where to get it that cheap!
Yeah u should have seen the flames commin out the back of one of them!!!
That clio cup race car was running 215bhp on ITBs with a omex standalone ECU. It was on R888's
i thought they where 205bhp anyway lol?
They was still slower than the c2 tho!
its just a stock engine mate. different ecu and exhaust thats all
:)
We were changing spring rates all day, trying to find some handling with that 70kgs of success ballast!!
depends if u know which way up to hold a spanner and how to turn it on...
Its easy mate. 2 bolts on the front hub (21mm??? i think) and then the top mount nut.
:) its easy
yeahhh :)
I dont know if u saw me hanging out the passenger window looking back lmao!
And i may have given it the nice chavy comment of..."look at the ITR its MINT"
haha.
Well, i did a 1.22.8 in my stock hatch. And i was doing 1.15's in my 197 cup car at combe.
I was there today at combe, was it using different tyres or something?
