172 Cups always fail on the back brakes when having the M.O.T done. There's something on here in the guide section that you can print off and show to the M.O.T tester.
Someone more mechanically minded will explain the reason why they fail.
I just got my finger nails under them and flicked them off and no I don't have long girly nails before anyone says.
Perhaps mine are dodgy but they've got all three clips on them.
Filled mine with V-Power last fill up before last and it made no difference to anything, MPG performance etc.
I use to fill up with it regular when it was called Optimax and there was a slight performance increase compared to regular fuel, never took much notice of MPG back then so I can't...
Hmm, the big blue writing in the description hurt my eyes. Might be just me but you might want to adjust that because people might struggle to read it.

Just been in a bidding war for these and someone has paid £26 + postage for them. You can get them cheaper from Renault can't you?
Re: I f**kING HATE DYNAMAT
My car has all this s**t in the boot, all around where the spare wheel goes. I noticed it before I bought the car, at 1st I thought it was there to hide something i.e welding marks, :dead:
Alot of the 53/04 plate cups have CC I'm sure, I looked a fair few before buying mine and alot had CC.
Edit: It was mainly 53plates I was looking at, the 04 plates are rare.
Lol. I have to deal with idiots and foul mouthed morons on a daily basis with the job I do, yesterday being a perfect example of that. So yeah I probably could have kept my cool in that situation.
I wasn't implying what happened in your situation was right, just that losing your temper is never...
To be fair he was only giving you advice, getting angry never gets you anywhere in these situations.
When Renault tried to charge me for faulty engine mounts on a car they'd put a 12 month M.O.T ticket on (I'd had the car a month). I didn't "kick off" just kept my cool and asked how it could...
Hard to judge really because since I fitted it my right foot has become heavier, the noise is quite addictive lol.
Seriously though I don't think it's made much of a difference, gave it quite abit of stick last night and it still returned 34MPG.
That's strange I've just had an email from Ebay saying I've got a 2nd chance offer on a Samco Hose.
Can't remember the name of the guy you bought yours from but the advert does look familiar.

Something rather strange happened when I fitted this yesterday. At 1st my car became all jerky and sluggish and the viper wasn't giving off it's usuall roar. This persisted for quite abit until I gave the car a good blast, after that the acceleration sharpened up and I was getting the induction...
Re: Insurance. Fookers!
I've not read all the posts so someone may have mentioned them but Halifax car insurance have been the best by far for the past two years for me personally. Not sure if they'd be the same for a younger driver but they're worth a try.
I did my pass plus just after passing my test (6 years ago) and it shaved nearly £300 of my premium. It's the easiest course you'll ever do driving related unless it's changed since I did mine.
No this isn't another thread asking "What MPG do you get from your clio" Lol.
Had a run down to Derby today to pick up a Viper from Joe (Pepsi) and to my surprise I had 55MPG showing at one point, granted I drove like an O.A.P on the way there but I drove more spiritedly home and still managed...
