It was the initials of the previous owner, they'd been removed and replaced with the original clio badge when I bought it.

Take it showed up as a cat-D on the HPI report? I personally wouldn't touch a cat-C/D car purely because I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. Can't grumble though if you got it for 2k.

I think he meant it snapped and that was the repair bill. Could be wrong though.

My old 172 Cup had a similar problem, nothing like the amount of water your's is letting in, I just put down to the seals around the doors failing.
