Picked it up today after traveling up to Leeds, There's a couple of marks on various places on the body work but only very minor things and near side alloy has been curbed and could do with a refurb, baring that the car's in good condition.
Couple of photos that were from the advert, not had...
Anyone on here previously own this 172 Cup or know any history of it? I'm sure I've seen this reg in the spotted section on this forum before. Going to look at it tomorrow.
Take it showed up as a cat-D on the HPI report? I personally wouldn't touch a cat-C/D car purely because I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. Can't grumble though if you got it for 2k.

Went to look at the car today, wished I really hadn't, waste of time and petrol. When I managed to find the place down a dirt track in the middle of nowhere I went to look at the car. 1st thing I noticed was every alloy was curbed to death and appeared to have bubbling on them, all the discs...
When you hit the curb did you have your wheels turned? When I did a similar thing at a similar speed through skidding on black ice I needed a new steering rack.
Lol! Suppose that'll happen alot regs being very similar. If you go on http://www.thornhamcarsales.co.uk/19694/stocklist.htm and search for Renaults you'll see it there.
Hello!
Well I'm kind of new, I was using this site about 3 years ago when I had a Clio 172Cup, but I had to sell up due to financial circumstances.
All being well I'll be buying another 172Cup come end of Jan or beginning of Feb and I'll be signing up for the full membership again once I've...
