depends on your luck my mate smashed a 1.0 corsa with a 2.0 turbo conversion and was painted a different colour, it had not a single mod declaired and was repaired without question.
admiral told us they wouldnt sort my sisters lupo 1.4 Sport until we had paid the difference in premium for the...
you can drive with your xenons on so everyone can see you but no point not having your aircon on coz then you wont see them!!
19 degrees auto every day!
mk3 ones are just as s**t apart from the one behind the handbrake, ive had a full large cola from McD's in there flying down a backroad at a tonne. and it just sits nicely!
dci will be 58mm bolt spacing. go the full hog and fit 172 bottom arms, hubs, ARB, and brakes :D
that way your getting awesome big brakes, the FK's and getting rid of the issue with the rubbish drop links on non RS cars!
yeah nothing wrong with FK's i had Silverline X's on my 1.2 i just mean at the time i wanted cheap lows and couldnt get cheap coilovers like Vmaxx, but now their is no reason not to go for cheap coils unless your on a very low budget.
i was torn between Vmaxx or eibachs that i already had and...
im not sure to be honest never really looked into it, id imagine they will pop up on ebay not sure on whats involved to retro fit though, i know they use the 197 ones on the 172/182's
yeah to be honest especially if its a runabout and you want a bit of comfort, infact not so much comfort just...
Re: just brought my first clio :)
they do fine for stance, my old 65 used to bounce about on them! they were actually pretty good when paired with the apex dampers on my 1.2 too!
awesome, its surprizing how many people overlook cambelts! id look into fitting something like a mk3 steeringwheel doesnt have to be a RS one just the normal dynamique ones, i never understood the issue with mk2 wheels (thats why i had my ph1 one retrimmed) until i bought my mk3 and now im...
Re: just brought my first clio :)
eibach give you the best ride comfort and performance but stance isnt their strong point, Apex give you a nice agressive stance being -60mm but they soon kill the dampers and the ride and handling isnt the best!
keep it standardish and just enjoy the cheap motoring. best bit of cash i spent on mine was a decent service, done it myself but changed oil, filter, gearbox oil, coolant, brake fluid, cabin filter, air filter. i found with a panel filter (think it was a K&N i had) it spooled that wee bit...
intercoolers hold money usually about £100-£150 ish to buy.
injectors forget it unless you have a minimum of about £300 to play with and thats if you get them cheap!
works best for turbo cars both petrol and diesel.
its worth doing a 172 however i got a decent gain from mine, more in drivability rather than power. my DCi flew when it was remapped!
lol no point in owning a standard one!! they need unleashed! i know the feeling ive not spent a penny on my 172 the last 2 months a bit fed up spending
looks good you should get a slightly smaller front plate measured to the recess, i done that with my old dci100 and looked good! a tiny difference but makes it look cleaner and a bit more agressive
