my mate had an s14 when i had my 190bhp 172, his was running a few goodies (hks manifold, nismo injectors, front mount, nur spec R and decat, boost controller) estimated around 300/320bhp.
straight line it was mental, would see off most things you will meet on the road! my mate got to about...

any linkage will fit ie non RS ones too if your getting one from the scrappies.
nitro is great for about an hour then they just end up causing problems. electric is much more fun imo charge it run it throw it back in the garage then charge it 3 years later and use it again no f**king about with trying to start it again

looks really good i like it!
how you finding the toyos, as far as performance tyres go i dont rate them too high BUT considering they are generally a budget tyre going by price they are awesome value for money! although mine have tried to kill me a few times lol
funny enough all the low millage 182's on PH and autotrader (ie under 15k miles) are non cup pack cars, i didnt understand it? however the only one thing that would put me off owning one would be the resale, even if a non cupped 182 handled like a mk2 172 (and rory has already said his felt...
no need for coilovers for the road, slightly uprated springs, prolines or sportlines maby, dont get me wrong coilovers wont make it any worse on the road unless its seriously bumpy but you wont get the benifit from them.
id put a panel filter in it, matched inlets and remap it, nice healty...
