10bhp from this exhaust???? place your bids ;)

Well yes, if you had no exhaust at all, a length of scaffolding would add 10bhp. ;)

10bhp from this exhaust???? place your bids ;)

WTF is that, a half b*stardised 182 exhaust adds 10bhp, and to think I wasted money on a well made Piper. Looks like Stevie Wonder made it ffs. :S

    HDR Supercars...

I might have to show this thread to the owner of the studio I work for, I think alot of the shoots I do could benefit from the odd photo being done like that.

    Top gear clio 182 review

They don't have any serious issues, iirc no Clio in history has ever gone wrong, had bits break or fall of, or ever broken down.

I doubt it, they're media cars supplied by Renault that get raped by every journalist in the land, worth about £50quid after everyone's had a go with it.

Bloody speedbumps! Hit 1 and now have vibrating problems....

Yep it was cracked and barely hanging on by a lose bolt. It looks like this. The other mounts are as you say, upper engine on the left by the cam cover, and the dogbone right under the car next to the gear linkage.

Bloody speedbumps! Hit 1 and now have vibrating problems....

Well looks like you're going to have to get under the car and check for movement in the tie rods, track rod ends, ball joints and wishbones. After that it's the dampers and springs. If there's a clunk when accelerating might be worth checking the gearbox mounts, you'll need to take the battery...

Bloody speedbumps! Hit 1 and now have vibrating problems....

You must have different square ones where you live, the ones in Coventry are tiny and never touch the inside of my tyres, the potholes on the other hand could rip a wheel off, they're a far more effective speed restriction. lol

Bloody speedbumps! Hit 1 and now have vibrating problems....

Even at 25mph those square bumps are a nightmare if your wheel hits one. Bloody things are pointless anyway seeing as they fit perfectly in between most cars wheels, which means they don't slow anyone down, unless your car's lowered in which case they just rip off your exhaust.

Have you checked you haven't lost some wheel weights? Best to eliminate the simple things first.

Renault Alpine A110 50th Anniversary Cinematic Clip - Ragnotti Content.

One of the best videos i've seen posted on here in a long time, beats the sh*t out of a load of ricers standing around in a car park polishing their cars & admiring each others static lows.

I'm going to slot some cardboard in between the grill and the radiator to avoid that.

    Satin black grill

I really don't get how so many people say it's easy to get the grill off, I tried the other day and nearly lost the will to live. I found it unbelievably hard to get off, i'm just going to mask the front up and spray mine on the car.

    182 Bean Coventry

Around 6:15pm, plate was CA54 I think. I was behind you in an Iceburg 172 for a bit on the A46 coming into Coventry as we approached the London Rd roundabout, looks like you had an aftermarket exhaust aswell.

If it sounds like a diesel it's usually the dephaser pully.

If I plug in a working abs sensor, will the light go out?

I had a knackered ABS sensor years ago that originally caused my SERV/ABS/TC lights, it was replaced but i've had the damn thing reappear every now and again ever since, no amount of diagnostic checks can find the problem, there are no fault codes on mine at all. But yet it remains and will...

Freak hail storm ruins my 172

Jesus Christ mate that's bad, they were the size of 50 pence pieces in Coventry, but it only lasted a couple of minutes and my car got away with it as far as I can tell.
