Remove pump and pipework as said, fill rack with fluid and loop the 2 ports on the rack. Ran mine like that for 3 years without any problems. Hard work at car park speed but good feel and weight on the move.
As Chip mentioned, a lot of racks that are meant for no pas have too many turns lock...
Good update mate. Seems ages since we were curb hopping at Donington.
What's the cage in the 106 out of interest? I'm helping a friend with his GTI build at the moment.
Had a read through from the start. Good stuff, lots of potential there and top marks for getting stuck in. All the best with the CSCC series.
Mallory is indeed a good little track, suits the Clio's well.
Mine was clean yesterday, then Ive done 100 miles to the other side of Boston and back this morning, so it's now brown again instead of black. Waste of time that was!
Doesn't look all too bad under there. Good work on the DIY spec spanner, I have a 70mm spanner plasma'd out of 12mm plate with a length of box welded on as the handle, lol.
Good work, nice to see something different as said. I've seen and driven the car in its various guises while Andy owned it so it's good to see the shell still about.
