Super Pursuit mode was sh*t I never liked it,
iirc it was only introduced due to poor ratings in an attempt to revamp the show.
I don't remember the ghetto blaster KITT. lol
Bit of a come down from the posh truck and clunge mechanic he had in the show,
but he looks happy in there with all the half used tins of paint. ;)
Would you ever consider a re-spray far in the future to convert it into KARR?
I bet you'd have the only one in the country.
Although I don't...
I'll be cleaning and re-oiling my filter in the coming weeks and cleaning the throttle body,
might change the oil aswell it's almost a year since it was done,
now I just have to figure out how to switch my auto lights off.
I've been searching and it seems there's lots of ways to cheat to create better results which is pointless tbh,
basically the best thing to do is clean and change things as much as you can.
Clean filter,
new or young oil,
normal tyre pressures,
(over inflated tyres will give higher/artificial...
Can we find out if Viezu have any advice on the best way to set the car up for a more accurate reading?
I know there are factors that'll alter the result, clean air filters, tyre condition & pressures etc.
Obviously we should all check tyre pressures that morning,
but is there a difference...
Topped up the coolant so it's no longer below minimum and got a replacement Ph1/Espace V6 standard filter,
now I can clean my Pipercross foam filter before the West Mids rolling road day in June. :approve:
£224 fully comp!!! Is yours standard and do you live in a gated community with armed guards or something? ;)
I'm 36 and mine's closer to £500 with 10 years NCB, although mine is modified and I live in Coventry's DMZ.
I think we need a bit more info than that mate.
Who are you with now?
How old are you?
How long have you been driving?
How many years NCB do you have?
Any points on your licence from speeding/traffic convictions?
etc.....
Also there is an insurance section to post in.
You can have the battery disconnected indefinitely pretty much,
it wont affect anything, other than your dash clock & stereo pre-sets.
Obviously your alarm & immobiliser wont work, but it's not like anyone can steal the car without a battery in it. ;)
Remove the negative first, then the positive, undo the battery clamp, lift it out job done.
If you're leaving the battery in place, wrap the ends in gaffa tape. (metal bits at the end of the wires)
You don't want them touching the battery and shorting out and causing a fire.
The JC5 130 I got from a breakers is smooth as silk,
it's a good stop gap while you save for a refurb, cost me £275 but it's 20k miles newer than my car.
If it makes you feel better I don't have the money for a second box and refurb,
so i'm just gambling that mine will last a few years while I...
Get another one from a breakers or the for sale section, £150-£250 depending on mileage.
Then send your knackered one to Agency Transmissions for a full refurb,
he'll take it apart and tell you what it'll cost before he does anything.
If he can't sort it, or reckons it's too knackered he won't...
