re map do I or not

Buy an RSTuner, map your car, and then sell it on here. A remap for under £100! Not only will it work out cheaper going for an RSTuner, but it is also a tried and tested map.

What have you done to your car today ???

Shall I just trash the standard stuff and then upgrade!!!!

No, you should spend £££ building a 'track car' and then break it for parts, having never gone anywhere near a track :) In all seriousness, get it out on track and enjoy it (assuming it's in good mechanical order and safe to do so). Nothing wrong with them even in standard form, but if you do a...

Bought mine in July last year and it had done 87,000 miles, it's just about to tick over 98,000. It's all about buying one that has been regularly serviced and maintained properly.

    Seeing your old cars :(

My old Fiesta ST- tomc1 by tommo1991, on Flickr IMG_3662 by tommo1991, on Flickr It was genuinely a mint car. Literally not a mark on any panel and only a very small number of minor stone chips. Full Ford service history from new. Was 100% standard, drove perfectly like a brand new car (it...

Great, i'm pleased everything was ok with them. The reason i sold them was to buy some uprated/solid mounts instead....

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

Re: The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy [& Fred's V6] Me too! I can't wait to see it finished. Sharky, bit of a random one, but what size are the tailpipes on your exhaust? I'm sure you said they were 3.5" before, but they look smaller to me.

New gearknob needed - whats a nice one to get?

Yeah, it's just four nuts and one bolt for the assembly mate, nice and easy to do. Edit - beat me to it mossy!
  26. Tommo.

New gearknob needed - whats a nice one to get?

Easier to just buy a second-hand one that comes with the full assembly. It's a PITA to get the ph2 one off from what i've heard!
  27. Tommo.

    P0302 Misfire Problem

One way to test it would be to clear the fault code, switch the injectors around so that the injector for cylinder 2 is now on either cylinder 1, 3 or 4 and see if the misfire then moves to that cylinder.

New gearknob needed - whats a nice one to get?

Ph1 Gear Knob ftw!! Can get them new from Renault but I think they are about £80. They pop up on here occasionally for around £40-£50 so that's probably your best bet. Definitely the one to go for though :)
