not been to see it yet going either tomorrow or friday if its still there. its at a dealer surprizingly!, looking at the pictures it looks like its done 20k lol looks absolutely imaculate! its up for £2300, but id be looking to get it for 2k once again only if its 100% ok mechanically...
hi guys, just a quicky here,
im looking at a dci 65 with 140k on the clock, with full service history, motorway miles, now i know my little dynamique 1.2 was running fine apart from burning a bit of oil at 140k but how are the diesels any better, any worse?
apparently its got thousands of...
check the rear dampers for leaking oil as said above, when mine went it was VERY unstable at speed and under braking it was actually that i noticed more than the handling due to mine going in winter when i wasnt pushing it.
i know mine goes over 140mph most days i take it out for a blast and...
if my budget was £100 id go for....
Non RS Clio - Apex -60mm springs (save up for dampers at a later date) spend the rest on getting the tracking done properly
RS Clio - Decat (you probably already have a stainless system as the original fell off a few times!) maby fit an ITG filter in there...
admiral mate, should give them a try if your a young driver, they seem to be brilliant for us.
as for to do it or not do it, personally id pay it, i payed £2500 3rd party on my 172 when i got it at 17 and that was paying it all in 1 lump so not the added interest if you pay monthly, yep £2500...
i agree with weebaws, as long as you've been supplyed with a suitable car while yours is being repaired so your not inconvienienced, uve came off £75 better off tbh
and id make sure the seats are replaced under warranty as you know yourself that is NOT wear and tear
its really handy as you can insure 1 car when the renewal is due and dont need to pay the other car(s) untill they are due so saves paying a bit lump at once!
tbh i think asking for sideskirts and splitter is a bit too much, no way would they give you that as you would then get chancers doing it all the time!
i do agree that £75 is a bit low but to be honest they are quite right, you still have a full warranty left to have any problems sorted out...
loose weight is the first step, if you dont want to be hardcore and loose the back seats and get light weight front seats etc then just loose the spare wheel, tool kit, boot liner etc
next step some eibach SportLine springs (make sure the dampers especially the rear ones are in good condition...
never went back for the bits im a bit squeemish lol didnt fancy seeing 2 dead rabbits haha
tbh i was surprized it didnt take the bottom of the bumper and grille out too!
lol i know, mates trading his 172 in and i told him last week id buy his splitter for £50 and sell it on to make a bit of cash since he wasnt bothered about removing it! so its not too bad although ive been wanting a carbon fibre one for a while but skint atm so standard 1 will do lol
yeah lol the 10 brothers were up there inc my dad, then all the mates appeared, built a little pool at the side of the water with about 5 cases of beer in it
