If your cutting into ther rear bumper then it would be mounted higher than the wheel well, it's only an inch or so higher than the rear bumper.

I put some charge in to it on Friday and it fired up no probs, but sat still Saturday & Sunday, then this morning it was just dead, i'm charging it right now but haven't tried it yet, I just don't know how effective the alternator is in relation to a charger.

This morning I turned the ignition on waited for all the lights to go out, then turned the key, engine was sluggish to start like it had a flat battery, when it fired up all the warning lights came on for about 3 seconds then gradually went out one at a time, i've started the car up a few times...
