Just rang Streamline Carbon, there still in
development, next couple of months till they
have a finished product.
Guess i'll have to wait and see who starts selling them first.
Sick of looking a my tatty steering wheel though.:(
Ive often thought of taking them off and trying to replace
them...
I just rang k-tec and they've discontinued
them for the time being because of fitment
issues. Bugger!
Might not be resolved for a month or so.
I guessing there the only people that make replacements.
I'm sure i found them for sale on the k-tec website
in fibreglass & carbon fibre but there not there now.
If you've changed yours where did you get them from?
Lockhurst Lane 1:00pm
I was coming out the sandwich shop opposite
the Stag & Pheasant as you drove past,
car looked lowered and sounded like it had a meaty
exhausts possably a stealth system as there was no
visable pipes.
For ages I thought my rear speakers were blown, but I got
a new head unit fitted the other day and the sound quality
and bass is loads better.
So now my speakers buzz/vibrate on tunes with heavy bass,
when I press on the speaker covers it stops, any suggestions
on how I get rid of this?
I would be good for a track day car,
but I would feel a bit of a tit pulling up at sainsburys to do my shopping in it.
Seems that most modded cars are stuck in the early 90s in this
city, ive seen body kits and graphics on some shocking cars.
The phrase "Polishing a Terd" comes to mind;)
All the West Mids meets i've seen are early on Sunday Mornings,
there was one yesterday at 9:00am?
I don't even get up for work that early!
A Cov meet would be good, we'll have to wait to see if these lads
are up for it.
Not sure mate, I dont think so, just got a glance at the rear diffuser in my
wing mirror.
Hardly anyones a member in Cov, I see sh1t loads of RS clios
around and so far the only people that have responded are
you and Beechey, if there was a meet it would probably just
be the three of us. lol
At least I think it was you, RB 182cup with
cliocup stickers on your side skirts.
I was a car behind you approaching Sainsbury's Island,
almost beside you at the lights, I beeped but you diddn't
hear me.
You tuned off into Sainsburys, looked like you were going
shopping with the Mrs.
Car...
I just rang them for you and they couldnt give me a straight answer,
the 1.2s are differant from the others, but eibach are closed til jan 4th
and he did not want to say that they will fit as it does not say 16v.
However it doesnt say 16v next to the 2.0 either.
So everything I have said...
The people that sold me mine said they would fit all clios except the V6.

I dont think engine size comes into it as the suspension components
are pretty much all the same.
Clios are mental!
They all seem to have their own little problems,
yours is the exact opposite to mine:S
Recently ive been getting a new noise or vibration every day,
and then the next day it's gone and a new one is in it's place.
Bloody french cars!
Good engines, sh1t everything else!;)
Twice now the fuel warning light has come on and the fuel
guage says I have a whole notch left, it use to come on when
it was on the red line.:S
Anyone else had this happen?
Which one should I believe, fuel guage or warning light?
Just got my MOT done today after it failed yesterday on emmisions and
one fog light.:dapprove:
The exhaust was blowing from the join between the cat and centre section, exhaust putty sorted that.
One of the fog lights failed (the only thing I forgot to check)
new bulb sorted that.
Advisory...
I've had my car re-mapped with an RST for about six months now,
and when I originally read my ECU I saved it on the laptop.
I had a look at the folder today and I only have the original
cal. file, is there supposed to be another file in there?
When you backed up your original ECU did you...
