i usually take my car a hard blast to get it up to full oil temperature so it runs out properly, but watch your hands!! i also wear latex gloves to keep my hands clean lol.
im the worlds best at droping the sump plug into the oil im draining haha
kinda does now that you say it!
possibly just the way its been resized or possibly the camber the wheels sitting at, these pics were taken before i took it to get the geometry set up
looks quite good mate!, looks quite low does it have different springs?
torque steer is pretty crazy when your not used to it isnt it?!
i hit a grouse at 100mph in my old 1.2 and ripped the splitter off and half of the bumper lol!
only after 2003 53 plate or there abouts did the silver alloy look door handles, gear knob and handbrake button come in, allong with different interior and different dials. they also had a revised (phase3) front bumper, grill and the headlights had a grey surround instead of a black one, along...
dont be put off by high millage as long as its been well serviced, my first engine lasted till 140,000 miles and the only reason it went was because when i changed the cambelt i didnt do the waterpump and eventually the waterpump seazed up snapping the cambelt!
i think freds was arround 100k...
considering selling it but i would miss the low down torque, so thot about a diesel but then would miss the noise of a high reving engine! and would also miss the nice heavy steering on the 172
the coilovers wern't crashy when they were set soft, i just prefered the sharpness of the steering...
will have an opening in the middle, but still filter'd so not to much of a problem, heat soak not a mega problem on an intercooler'd car tho, although the lower the intake temp at the filter the lower the intercooler can cool!
yep dont like the 172 its pish lol load of money for something that gives me half the fun! the 1.2 will flip on its roof before the tyres let go!
dont get me wrong if i had the coilovers, polly bushes, and tiny wheels on the 172 it would be an animal but i just find it to sensible and boring...
i do lol im attached to it, as nice and as fast as the 172 is the looks you get when driving a car that low is awesome and its 10x more fun down a backroad than the 172 because your arse is so close to the ground lol, and well 15" wheels, no more said lol just need to get some more power from...
really suits the RS grill that does!
rctempire, lol i know not been to a meet in ages always struggling with work because i work 1pm till 10pm 5 days a week and then usually do overtime on my days off! but need to get to one to show off the new 172!
lol they monster truck tyres were 195/50's too was just because it was so low with tiny wheels!
on the right road it out handles my 172 (standard dampers, eibach sportlines, eagle F1s) but on a bumpy road it bump skiped all over the road lol
it already has a decat on it lol just a home made...
extreme depends on the model and year as to what it has and doesnt have, dynamique has all the toys auto wipers, lights, cd player as standard (after a certain point, they were tape players to start)
both extreme and dynamique have sports seats, dynamique has nicer ones tho and has the fancy...
i bought my 1.2 16v engine for £150 with 50k on the clock (verified) as i heard it running etc before i removed it, needed a service but runs sweet as f**k now that its been well serviced.
id stick a 16v in it pal, its worth the extra bit of hastle.
was looking thru my pics and found these, thought the "loud and low" boys would like these lol
they were taken before the 5mm spacers went on and 195/45/15 tyres! droped it a bit more after that
it'll be back on the road soon lol, got fed up replacing the cat (went thru 3 in 2...

heres a side on pic for you...
bland, any excuse to show off pics of my dynamique hehe...
lol once i got used to the 172 when i drive it it feels just as fast (or should i say slow) as the 1.2, its weird.
thing is you get bored of a fast car quite quick but you never get bored of a good handling car!
lol naa standard, cheers mate im gradually starting to enjoy it lol love the way it looks and goes just find it kinda boring, just missing the coilovers, loud exhaust, wee wheels and no interior phase i went thru with my last car lol
nice one guys, loving both cars, ive got 2 month old FK silverline X coilovers sitting in my shed doing nothing, looking at they pics makes me want another clio to put them to use!
since it was a nice day yesterday gave it a wash, clay and wax. couldnt be bothered polishing it as ive got a pc polisher sitting with no transformer or cable etc yet so wasnt doing it by hand LOL has hardly any swirls anyway!
