nice one mate how you finding the handling compaired to the old 1.4? im still getting used to mine, still not liking 16" wheels but dont want to go to 15s without coilovers.
my 02 1.2 dynamique is on 140k i used to rack up so many miles in that going for pointless drives at weird times in the morning etc just to hear the powerflow and have fun with coilovers, i miss the car so much now that its back to standard!!!!
172 i dont do to many miles in. its only on 26k
looks awesome i miss my slammed dynamique i ripped 2 splitters off in 2 months lol i couldnt get into my drive, into my works carpark, over potholes, obviously no speedbumps lol but it was all part of the fun
went for something subtle with the 172 tho with the sportlines lol
is the engine bassed on a d4f 1.2 16v or is it a different engine? if it is then it could be a nice little power boost for a mk2, my 82bhp 1.2 16v was quite nippy with 100bhp and possibly 120ish with a remap and exhaust it would be quite a fun little car.
will be good in the twingo since its...
back needs to go a bit lower, my rear was about twice as low as that lol couldnt see the top of my tyre on my 15s!! and that was on 195/45/15 tyres!!
i had FK 5mm wheel spacers on mine with the standard wheels and it looked much better, wheels sat perfect in the arches
i spent a bit on mine had a lightned and ballanced bottom end, re profiled cam etc for it full exhaust, decat, filter.
at the end of the day DONT touch the engine performance wise you'll get little gains yes you could do all the above plus headwork etc but you'll only get 100bhp at the VERY...
my 1.2 used to do this when i had it, cleaned the caliper sliders and worked the pistons back and forward a couple of times cleaning them and it seemed to sort it.
im on my 3rd set of F1 GSD3's in a year went thru 4 on my 1.2 so bought another 4 and then when my PE2s on my 172 were done i went for F1's and prefer them to the PE2's that were on it!
not really true tbh, if i set my dampers to soft on my coilovers they were no harsher than my 172 on sportlines, or set it to the hardest setting and it didnt budge!
looks good guys shame i was working :(:(
need to get myself along to a meet not been to one in the 172 yet.
when did that c**t alan get a R27? fuker kept that quiet lol
getting cams and zorst for the 172 hopefully soon so ill get along to one in the future!
im 18 been driving 1 year with 0ncb and insuring my 172 for £1500 a year
a lot of people say the petrol will kill you, not entirely true, mine is much better than my modded 1.2 16v was, as i dont have to drive it as hard arround town etc you can drive about everywhere in 4th and 5th instead...
saw a trophy, smiled and gave a nod but dont think the guy saw me.
saw that blue gdi 182 think his names perry?
and also that blue 172 cup with white turinis and big exhaust the guy who insists in flooring it past me when i see him to let me hear his exhaust! looks good and sounds good when...
hi mate, im from falkirk, also got a 172 but in iceberg silver, only mod ive done is Eibach Sportline springs, nice drop and awesome handling (previous car had coilovers too and this isnt far off handling wise!)
i got mine from fergusons of stirling www.fosperformance.co.uk
anyone got the k-tec recessed exhaust for the 172 ( this one http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2069)
thinking of getting it with the silenced de-cat as its ment to be quite quiet (i got a new exhaust under warranty and they used a cheap thing that doesnt even fit properly and...
