Surely that's a GOOD thing? I'm not seeing your argument lol
the box won't let you change down if it'll cause the engine to over rev - good thing
the box won't auto change up a gear when bouncing off the limiter until the paddle is pressed - good thing
it'll go into 1st automatically if you...
my silver top mondeo was RR'd at 138.3bhp with just a focus inlet pipe and panel filter. 140 should be doable with a manifold and decat. They're 134bhp standard
Boils my piss this does!
Surely if pictures can be provided that there was no damage whatsoever, then insurers should be able to use a bit of common sense and say "woah hold on, how can this chancer be injured if there isn't a mark on the car"
I didn't like them on my MPS, plus they were noisey as hell! Swapped em for parada spec2s and the car felt transformed. Saying that though, I only ever took it on track with the Yokohamas fitted so couldn't really say how they performed against the bridgestones
It's just a push button, could always pull the panel off and try shorting the wires together to see if that brings up the light. Then you'll know if its a faulty switch
This! If it was me I'd use some half decent stuff for the fronts, and then cheaper stuff for the rears. I doubt I'd notice the difference no matter what cable was used lol
In my opinion, which is fact, they both look really good there. I wouldn't pay 20k for one, but I'll defo be looking when 2nd hand prices become reasonable
1) ESP is on as default every time the car is started. Pressing the button should illuminate the light on the dash, indicating that ESP is now off
2) the green gear stick is the "shift indicator" lights up as your approaching the rev limiter
3) no idea as its never a problem I had with mine...
