Thanks for the kind words/PM's people. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm not going to be able to get anything from it (depending on CAT status) but I'll PM anyone that's interested in the parts the address of the salvage yard as soon as I find out.
I'm just gutted. It's weird, I was only telling...
Wrote it off this morning on the way to work.
Extremely gutted and a bit sore, but ok. Especially gutted as I've spend just shy of 2 grand last month getting it immaculate so it's ready to be sold.
I'm going to attempt to buy it back, as the Turnini's/Recaros/Sachs/Spoiler etc are all in...
Meh, 1*2's aren't luxuary cars, no matter how many auto features/much leather you throw at it. Creature comfort's should be a welcome extra on them, rather than models getting dismissed due to the lack of them.
It's the same one that came in the cup mate. Easy enough swap though.
It's thrown together, in the same sense that NBA All Star teams are thrown together.
Did you think of that all by yourself, or did your carer help?
;)
Seriously though, are you just trolling, or would you like to enlighten me as to why it's so bad?
RB is a nicer colour, agreed. But capsicum is far from 's**t', as the bloke above put in such a coherent way.
Didn't see you at CSS Ed! You could've had a drive out in mine mate! Then bought it...
Oh c'mon Ollie. We once had a claim where someone had managed to set fire to a Smart Car in a petrol station by putting fuel in the heater vents. Make of that what you will.
But yeah, when I was in sales nothing ever made me 'laugh myself to tears' when taking details/giving quotes. Other than...
It's insurer dependent, but generally you lose them after not having a policy of your own for two years. I've heard of some being one year, though, so go careful and check with your insurance company.
PNCB has nothing to do with whether you take a 'break' with insuring a car or not, it only...
I'm a spastic and forgot to bring the voucher, but must've been overcharged if you only paid the equivelent of £4.50. 9 quid for me for the same 'meal', lol!
The chips were awesome though, was well happy when I saw the bird bring out a fresh batch.
Cheers mate. Completely agree btw. That picture was it on 80k ish, it's on 90k now and just as fresh. Condition > Milage.
It also may be up for sale...;)
I wouldn't say a far better job really mate. Fit xenon's and half-leather rear bench/doorcards. Done.
Compared to the MK3 'specials', the Trophy is astonishing, lol! Drive one (buy mine!) and you'll be a convert, trust me ;)
Meh, I can't be bothered. Only thing I will say is that the xenon headlights from a 1*2 aren't quite as wonderful as you think. In fact, they're pretty pony.
OP. Drive the Trophy and see what you think. It's a better car IMO, but whether it's worth the extra over a normal is down to personal...
How is 'who cares if the Trophy handling is better....' a fact, exactly? Also, 'rubbish red'.
Those sound like opinions to me.
Standard for standard, the Trophy is a better car. RB is arguably a better colour.
