Whilst the peak figures are there or there abouts, look how smooth the power/torque lines are on the JMS graphs! Almost like they've been drawn with a ruler!

I'd say you'd be hard pushed to notice the difference, really.

All 1*2 boxes will fit your 182 no problems. The only thing that varies is the ratios, and Ph1 172 boxes have a mechanical speedo sensor, but just ignore it and fit it anyway. (:

Most people have either left the window motors in, or gone down the polycarb route. Not sure if there are any boggo spec Clio Mk2's which had mechanical windows?

PMSL. There's a part on the electric window motor mech that holds it up. Remove it and the window will drop down.

Re: Rebuilt gearbox starting to crunch into 3rd after c.100 miles To align the linkage, i put it in fourth, get someone to hold the gearstick there, loosen, let it sit nicely, then tighten up. Done it a few times, and always worked perfectly for me.

I've got a straight crank and bearings if it's any use.

6000k looks white, but ever so slighlty blue.- the one to go for, imo. 8000k looks much more blue (pikey)
