Ph1 and Ph2 are largely interchangable, yes.
Interiors is a fair job, but do-able.
There's always people on here asking about 106's, mate, so might be worth putting a thread up for a PX.
Saying that, the Ph1 is the best 1*2 to drive. (I've never driven a Trophy).
Leave the pads in.
Get an easy bleed kit if you're on your own. Brilliant bit of kit.
Start with the wheel furthest away from the resevoir, and just bleed it through until the fluid looks clean!
