Popped in to see Tom and James and have a couple of bits done...
First up was Engine Mount, Upper Gearbox Mount and Dog-bone Mount, I went for the K-Tec vibratechnics mounts and JMS Supplied me the Polybush Dog-bone kit.
These mounts TOTALLY transform the car, and all the talk of excess vibration... I don't seem to suffer with it at all!
The gear change is much more positive and there is now no movement in coming off and on the gas through the gearstick. The Engine does not rock back and forth anymore and the car pretty much feels like new!
The second reason was to finally get my Bimarcos fitted -
Massive improvement over the standard driving position! And appear to be very comfortable... although I am off to Wales from London way tomorrow for a driving weekend, so will see how my backside copes on a long run!
The seats are Ed's old seats, and mounted EXTRA low due to Ed being a rather Lanky chap... It ow feels like I am sat on the floor
And a quick shot of the car as I just washed it...
BIG thanks to JMS, cant recommend them enough, and as discussed will be back shortly
