There is also the point that a Megane looks interesting, and the Subaru is just a big blobb on wheels. Park a Subaru in Basildon and you wont know which car is yours.

Saw a Fiesta MK1 today. It had black steel wheels with fake alloy wheel trims on. OK but. He had painted some yellow caliper shapes behind the trims.
