Spray GUNK or Pour bottled coke over the oil. Sprinkle laundry detergent over top. Scrub with a stiff bristle broom or brush. Let it sit for a couple hours. Rinse off with clear water.

Problems I had with the MK1.
Wheelarch liner creaked on full lock. No big deal.
Thats all I can think off and probably why I kept it for two years. There was nothing to moan about to make me want to get rid of it.

Ok so its still £10k more than a 182, but the V6 is a totally different car, and some are prepared to pay that for the good looks alone.
I used my V6 as an every night car. Yes the turning circle is awkward at times, but who turns their car so many times in one journey to make it that much of a problem?
I believe tyres and brake pads are a fair bit more expensive than a 172 etc. The joy and feel ( not speed ) of the V6 is more...
