They'll be in this weekend dont you worry. I've purposely avoided fitting them over winter, and then i've had all these other jobs to do first. WFH this week has meant I can leave my car in pieces, i'll be back in/out of the office next week!
Got my seats mounted onto my subframes. Had a couple of issues with the sliders being 'tapered' by about 4mm front to back. I believe it's down to the tension the centre bar puts through. Enlarged my holes slightly (9mm one side, 10mm the other) and it all went together fine with the slider...
Beam mounts are all fine. Had the rear bushes replaced last year and everything unbolted without any issues. Might be worth giving them a go over at some point just because of the age.
You're too kind Mark! Definitely doesnt compare to your build thread though and others on here.
Just trying to...
I wonder why it has the random disconnected connector in the base. I always thought the GPS was in the base of the aerial (as its longer) but all cables just appear to be standard FM coax. Might need to research more.
I'm not wanting a new base haha, i reckon if I get a cable like this I can just plug and play and run it down behind the radio.

I could do with a cable like that with the female end so I can plug...
8200077690 appears to be the cable I need.
Wonder if the length is tucked away somewhere else or it's a different (Shorter) cable in the satnav system.
Found this on the interwebs.
I might be getting somewhere now. The connector at the very bottom looks identical to the one from the standard aerial. So you're probably right, buy the full length cable and just connect as normal.
Hi all,
Recently removed a factory satnav system from my 182. Because of this I'm now left without any signal for my radio as I presume it was getting it through the nav box.
I have these 2 connectors (top was going into box from aerial, bottom going into box from radio). I presume I need a...
It wipes out with a rag and thinners. I'm literally just going to remove it on the small area of treated rust, not the whole lot!
Probably dont even need to as the rust is 'converted' already but better safe than sorry. I wasnt going to coat it but got carried away when I was doing the rest of...
Another good day of progress. Stripped all the rear bench out and removed the door cards on both sides. Inspected each side for rust and was very similar to the last time I looked in that they were pretty good. Only surface and no holes that werent meant to be there.
Treated the rust using some...
I mean it does have some negative effects as you're essentially forcing a misfire. Should he fine for a short duration but resistance is better to measure imho
Marks is one of the Ebay Italian ones. Might not be able to get them right now... they're larger than standard and allow standard boot struts
The ccf one is an identical one to the trophy spoiler. You need shorter boot struts
