Trying to take the head off, first two bolts came off with some encouragement, but the third has managed to sheer most of the head of the torq head bolt clean off leaving a nub that you can't really get purchase on. Tried another bolt and it has started doing the same thing.
Anyone has this...
Ahh gotcha, i assumed that is what you meant. It is only the second bang that is relevant, the first is just the bucket seat flexing a little.
I do still have the servo, though it is not connected to anything at the moment as the engine is not in the car (I've just blocked it off). But good...

Good to know, ive reached out to them to see what they say, but it sounds like they are just overlength and this isnt a mistake on my order.

My plan was to set up the cams as you normally would in a cambelt change, get the car running and idling and handing it over to engine dynamics to finish the job.

Wheels are second hand, i was trying to find the et stamped on the rim but failed. Looks like they come in et25 amd et35 based on the team dynamics website. I dont think theyre et25 surely.

Hmm, well hopefully the amount ive done it so far hasnt done any damage to the other wheel bearing.
I have put the shafts back in now, and i can confirm once torqued up the play in the new wheel bearing has completely disappered.

first vote for the tyres being OK! It does sound like UV is the big tyre killer when it comes to the rubber hardening and these have been inside pretty much their whole life. Still, I'll probably replace the tyres to be save.
