Looking to build a website and just wondered if anyone had any suggestions? To begin with, I just want a simple holding page, but will look to build something a bit more complex later. I have hosting capability, so ideally want a desktop tool where I can put a page together and then host it.
I will try my best. Just got a few bits to finish off and would need to find a way to get the car there.
Seats etc are all ordered, just need to make some cage tweaks and find an exhaust that isn't 118dB ?
That's not unusual though. Most OEMs will use aftermarket suppliers for that sort of thing. However, it's all done to a cost. Having worked in the business, and knowing others who do, even some of the most premium car makers don't have the greatest understanding of choosing the best...
I was amazed at how agile my old ST220 felt. Once you were making progress, even down tiny little lanes, it never felt like the big car it was. It was a really confidence inspiring car. There are roads that I would drive that down way faster than I would have the balls to drive my Clio...
I spent a few months driving a cooking model FN Civic and the ride was shockingly bad. Can't imagine what the Type-R is like. It's a shame. Part of me quite likes them, but I don't think I could buy one over some of its rivals. I know people love NA, but it would just do my head in for a daily...
I went about ten years ago. Have wondered about going again, but it seems to be turning into more of a motor show for OEMs, rather than a haven for old race cars, so not so sure. All I remember from last time I went is that it was a bloody long walk to the top of the hill...
Doesn't surprise me. A friend sold a broken Daihatsu Sportrak to a guy from Eastern Europe who paid a company to collect it. About ten years ago, I bought a Sierra for £500, hated it, put it up for sale and a guy from Ireland paid £850 for it within a couple of weeks, having never set eyes on...
Looks great now. A change of wheels and new steering wheel will finish it off perfectly.
I really would like something like this at some point. It's an itch I need to scratch.
You have to dress like a tool on a bike as well. And I like listening to the radio. And shouting at people on bikes. Can't shout at them so much if you're one of them.
Not before me lol. For me, part of the RS mystique is the screaming normally aspirated engine. I think the rear bumper/diffuser on the GT2 is a little awkward compared to the GT3 too.
Both stunning cars though and the stuff of dreams really.
