Wrap on this looks great. Really different with the grey details, like it a lot. What's with the GRP bonnets for these being so floppy though. The one on the green one in the pics above is shocking! I'd be putting a bit of metal in the front of it to try and stop that flexing I think. Cool car...

Just keep it and use it as a toy/track car. You don't need to do anything to it to use it for track days and still have fun. Plenty of people have good condition cars they use on track, it isn't a death sentence. I wouldn't bother having the belt done to try and sell it, as the cat C thing will...

God I cannot stand the videos this guy does, what a plum. Not into those AMGs either. Ugly cars and just look Halfords-tastic with the canards etc.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the vast majority of people wouldn't notice. They might think they notice, but that doesn't mean that they did. The only real difference most people might notice is if the ride quality alters, but your average joe is very unlikely to notice handling differences...

Can't remember the last time I saw an R19 on the road, let alone a 16v. Nice to that it will be restored back to standard. I always fancied a phase 2 Chamade in blue...

The Sport front end really tansforms that. The wheels make me cry a little bit though, sorry.

I would love a Saph Cosworth. Prices for them just seem to be rocketing though.

I've recently got a pixel, very happy with it so far. Never got on with iPhones (have a 6 for work and hate it) and not really into Samsungs etc. Pixel was quite pricey, but seems very good so far.

Graphics on these don't often work, but that looks absolutely brilliant - love it!

The Clio is a year-round toy. My RS2000 rally car should be running in the next couple of months too

I think my opinion was much the same as yours at the time. I drove both the Golf and the Megane and felt the Golf was the better choice for my needs and I did like the fact it was faster. I just looked on Auto Trader but it seems to have gone. Can't remember the full spec. Still seemed a decent price for delivery mileage and pricey Leather Recaro option!

There were some good deals around to lease these just before production stopped. Part of me wishes I had gone for one instead of the Golf. Saying that, I saw a 16 plate Cup-S with 100 miles on it for £17.7k recently. It had leather Recaro seats and suede steering wheel too. Seems a bargain that.

Very nice. I've just paid a deposit on a 265. Been running a Golf R for a year but it's been a bit boring. Looking forward to the Meg!

I have race boots but that's because I wanted them for rallying...and I'm a tart. Some nice narrow trainers with the thinnest soles possible is what you want.

Like this a lot. The splitter and willies really do make it. Not a fan of that. It's a bit try-hard. All this carnards business on hatchbacks is not cool either.

If the harness bar was in the main hoop, might this restrict seat mounting I wonder? Obviously the Clio is a pretty small car, so I wonder if a harness bar might limit how far back the seats could be mounted? Can't think what it would be like off-hand.

I think that's the case with most of the 4WD hot hatches really. My Golf is not very engaging at all, even the super-duper Focus RS still feels a bit fake somehow. They're all very good road cars though, which is what people want I suppose.

I'd really like to drive one of these. Can't imagine it's the most engaging thing ever, but probably overcome by the five cylinder-ness of the engine. Not so sure on the quilted leather on the seats myself though.

Not for me, would rather have an Impreza.

Spoiler doesn't do much for me, but love it otherwise!
