That's what does make me reluctant to be honest. Got a 172 Cup currently and eventually plan to turn it into a rally car. However, I would imagine the MK1 is a little lighter and (most importantly) looks way cooler, so I would prefer to start with one of those. Just don't much fancy spending...
I've been doing some searching but not come up with much.
Has anyone ever measured the differences between 172, 172 Cup, 182 and 182 Cup suspension parts? What are the actual differences? I know the damper bolt spacing is different on the 182 Cup, but what about the actual hub dimensions? Am I...
Think we all have cars we regret selling! Clios are great cars though. Mine was only meant to be a stopgap but can't bring myself to sell it! Cheers for the info, will give them a call some time. Few other bits to replace though, so it might have to wait a little while yet.
Bonkers ain't it?! I guess I would have had the ST220 at that point. Since then I've had a Volvo V70, the Clio and currently got a Golf R. Also still got two RS2000 rally cars and an old four door MK5 Escort. I need to sell some of them though lol.
Think I liked the Fez RST you had the best, but this is good too lol.
Where are Aerocote based? Just googling it, the St Olaves one? What kind of money do they charge?
Yes, that one! Are you the Ollie that bought it? If so, small world!
I do miss the old RSOC days! I must say, I haven't got too involved in the Clio scene so far, but now know quite a few people with them. You've had loads of cars it seems. Last time I saw you, you had an Astra VXR!
Just had a read through all of this. Car looks great, definitely up to your usual standard!
Where did you have your wheels powder coated? Mine need doing badly. Need new rubber too so seems logical to have them done together!
