I do understand that to an extent. If you buy modified, there is always a niggle in my mind that it's had a hard life. Might not always be true, some modified ones are maybe mollycoddled more than standard ones, but it does always cross my mind. I saw one on the ktec website and it had a Castle...
Seems cheap that. Most of the ones I've seen at that kind of money seem quite high mileage or a little rough.
Anyway, I have well and truly ruined Jamie's thread! So, if anyone has any good places for buying advice, perhaps it would be better to PM, or start a new topic lol.
Thanks for that, will have a read. Could clear up some of my questions!
Yeah. Quite an expensive option I assume, so most people probably went without them. They make the car for me so would be essential.
Understandable. I'm currently in a Golf R on lease but it goes back in April so starting to think about replacing it. It's a good car but a little more on the comfortable side. Got a real itch for one of these still but, while I don't mind giving up a bit of comfort, some things are still...
I can't stop looking at these. The want is so strong.
What is the difference between Cup and full fat in terms of equipment etc? I know full fat gets climate instead of manual air con, but what else is different?
What's the process for moving out there? What hoops do you have to jump through, if any? Are immigration rules tough? I'd like to visit Calgary. Had a connecting flight through there and it looked nice with the mountains nearby.
I have a connection in Winnipeg, so hardly a tourist hot spot...
Nice collection!
How do you find living in Canada? I went out there earlier this year and am going again in January. Have wondered what it would be like to live there.
I went through a phase of changing cars a lot and it wasn't really the cars that cost the money, but the endless driving about to look at/collect things, as well as insurance changes, tax etc etc. Soon added up I found.
It certainly seems like the C-segment 3dr hatch is coming to the end of it's life. I wonder if the next Astra VXR will still be a three door.
I reserve judgement on this. If they don't do a manual option, I think they will fall foul of the wrath of enthusiasts, like they did with the Clio 4...
Guys, I've been talking to a couple of friends and fellow Clio owners (non-members) about this car and they are both curious on what sort of value would be attached to it. Would you mind sharing, purely out of interest? PM if you prefer, would be much appreciated :)
I saw one of these in my neck of the woods the other day. Looked to be the same colour, had a big exhaust but alloys instead of steels.
Grill is an improvement. Think it could do with something at the front though, a spoiler of some kind.
I know someone who used to have a Saab T16S. It was fairly nippy at the time, but boy did it hate corners lol. He managed to roll it on a dual carriageway. Pleb.
Like this a LOT. As others have said though, it needs a standard front bumper for me.
This is the perfect Impreza for me, the RA is definitely the one, especially as it has both the roof vent and DCCD. It's a bit too modified for my taste, but look forward to seeing what you do with it. Very...
