I'm not sure if there is a way to actually 'test it' so to speak, but i'm not the best person to be asking. If you swapped it out, and it still misfired then your problem isn't that. Do you know what sort of fuel has been in the car too? As supermarket fuel can lead to problems albeit probably...
That's odd, almost like it was just not pressurising? I'll give it a shot as others have had good experiences with SGS, and if it's crap i'll return it.
There's no hostility mate, it's just there was another thread a few weeks back with someone demanding help with capitals etc before introducing themselves in the first place. Replace the things you feel comfortable with first, then keep going. Injectors/coils etc aren't too challenging.
It did come across that way a little mate! Everyones here to help on the forum, but there's only so much diagnostics you can do over the internet. I'd get the injector swapped over first and see if the problem follows, if not then look at changing the coil pack/leads. Fair enough you can send...
What went wrong with it mate? Was it after many uses it broke? Not wanting to go against peoples experiences as that'd just be a pointless thread then! Rather know and maybe get something better (But not as huge as the costco one!).
Haha, okay cheers! Seems this doesn't really fit my bill (for now anyway). Think I might take a punt at the SGS one, and see how it holds up. Hoping to get a house with a garage when i finish uni and I can contemplate something more substantial then. Can't complain for £25 really.
This is what puts me off for the time being. If I had by own garage it'd be great, but lugging it up and down a flight of stairs doesn't sound fun.
Ahh that's good to hear! Did you pay more for the jack case and jacking pad or was it the same one i linked to?
Does look really robust! What sort of size is it? Only thinking as it'd be sat in my room with the rest of my tools until I move out of student letting.
I'd looked at those, but read the reviews and they weren't so promising. Obviously axle stands would be used too, but having a jack that slowly drops doesn't sound great. Have you noticed that before?
Seen this and it looks half decent...
I'm after a trolley jack and was wondering what everyone is using?
Don't want to be spending hundreds, but after something that is fairly robust and won't collapse during use.
Would a low profile one be the way to go? I dont have any plans on going super low with the 182 but if they're more handy?
The injector cleaning is worthwhile regardless, and dan would be able to tell during the pulsing of it whether it was actually dying or not. Either that or take it to a specialist and see what they have to say, but it will end up being £££ regardless.
Hoping to do similar with my dashcam which is a nextbase 421GW. Have the 5v hardwire system to my old cigarette lighter cabling and have just ordered a cable to route it under my headlining and down my a pillars. My brother runs a gopro in his jordan on his top dash, but harrogate isnt exactly...
Fitted my cup spoiler today, and i really like the look! Had a few problems with fitment, but have managed to get it sitting pretty much flush now (Better than in the pictures). The only issue was there was some filler on the edge which stopped it sitting properly, and when I tightened up the...
If it's not been gummed up with silicone, yes. I have mine to do so will take photos for you when I do it if you'd like? It's easier with the headlining out, but doable with just pulling it down.
