Yeah, Not sure on the full story! He's at work right now but will get a hold of him later. Would it be something to do with the clutch plate if it's not selecting a forward gear? It's just recently had the immobiliser removed from it as there were problems with it not starting.

My girlfriends dad has a white clio mk1 automatic. It's nothing special, but really low mileage of about 20k? If that? He's not owned it long and is just thinking of scrapping it as apparently the gearbox has 'gone' although it will still select and drive in reverse. I don't really know much...

That's crazy! I'm 21, 1 years no claims, no points, and just got insured on my 182 for £860. Could've gotten it for £700 if I was living at home, but had to put my huddersfield address down too as my overnight address. Mods declared too! Although, I do have a YO main postcode like @leeds_182...

The jacking points on these bend so easily (Moreso the fronts), mine need bending back. Good shout on the block, I like to use blocks of wood along the length of the sill too.
