Im not sayin its the girliest car on the market it just seems theyve gone back a bit on styling compared to the valver. Like i said before - the 172 should look like a slightly more subtle V6. (Ofcourse you have to keep the full blown looks for the v6 beast!)

Just parked my valver next to a Metallic red 172 at work. Looked at the both and im supprised how girly 172s look next to the mean old face of the valver! Theyve gone the right way in the engine department but they defo need meaner styling! Think i may right to Mr Renault! 172s should look like V6s!

My cars in the garage as we speak tryin to have its power loss sorted. i asked bout me 17s slowin it down but the bloke at Renatec said 17s should increase acceleration at first but then kill your top end! Its all down to gearing which makes sense if you put your mind to it!

Taa. Its just i thought pressure in mine seemed low and now youve confirmed that it is. The garage i had my car serviced in put the plugs in so i wouldnt be supprised if its got the wrong oil!

Well ive just had head work done, head gasket and few other bits and bobs. Ive also got a IK and plannin to have an exhaust by then. My car does seem slow at the mo and the garage where i had the work done at said it most probs needs a tune.

Do you normaly get much more power once your cars been set up on the rollin road? My cars on 80k and i dont think its ever been tuned. I feel it needs one now badly!

All the answers seem very varied! I seem to have lost a bit of acceleration and defo top end (not gettin much more than !20) Im gunna have to put me 15s on and test!

My mates runnin 18s with a 45mil drop all round and it looks stunnin and doesnt scrub on his 3dr 1.6 16v.
