Well thanks guys for the quick response. just not many reviews on line as they relatively new and tire reviews seem to take about 6 months to get going. I'll get them ordered and let you all know in due course. £55 on tyre leader just now!!
Hi,
Has anyone tried the below tire?
http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/hankook/ventus-v12-evo2-k120/205-45-zr16-87w-80554
Looks good compared to the PS3. Better fuel efficiency as a small bonus and £100 cheaper from tyreleader.
My only reserve is they come in 87W not 83V like the PS3's...
Hi, Hoping that someone can help me out with a small issue. Had a small component burn out on my ECU but no idea what it does. Nothing is not working apart from Boot internal LED lamp though this has definitely worked after the part burnt out. See photo and thanks
Just a quick note, had Ryan McCallum out from washnwax.net as above, not much space for cleaning at mine. He made the interior look a lot better than I had achieved and means I just need to hose the car down every so often during the winter. Hopefully get booked into Dominion Detailing for start...
Just a note to all in Edinburgh. I don't really have space to thoroughly clean my car so recently got Ryan McCallum (washnwax.net) to go over the car. He did a great job in about 1.3 hours inside and out looking better than I normally achieve for £25. He was recommended to me by someone else but...
I think its to do with removing the original "thumb" construction and building something to support the new material or just adding padding so its smooth under the final layer. I think the postage on mine was about that (to Edinburgh). Hope it goes quickly, I still appreciate mine every drive.
I cant remember exactly but I think 110-125? Also, he did the £50 deposit and exchange deal so zero car downtime. This can depend if he has a wheel in stock obviously. Just make sure you give him very exact instructions or a pic to follow, like I said, only two weeks total! The best money I have...
I wish I could wash at my house. I have to go to Tesco and irritate everyone there by refusing to use the brush, hand wash it, then move it and dry and polish it. Never going to be great. I am going to get either a full detail or go even bigger and stage a 2/3 stage paint correction done in the...
Still a mystery to me what it is, only thing not working is the boot LED but that was working after this happened. I only changed the easy ones; vanity, boot light etc. didn't solder new window control LEDs in or anything. Saw that in another BG thread and looked like so much work just to remove...
Thought I'd do a quick update as its been a while. Really nothing major done since the last time unfortunately/fortunately.
Finally fitted silver visions
New plates, 3/4 front, probably could have got a 88/90mm one but its 84mm for now
Just got Michelin Alpin A4's fitted for the winter...
Just purchased winter Michelin Alpin A4's from them. Tracking shows they are in the UK and 5 days so far over a weekend. Not bad, best price by more than £20 per corner.
Cheers for the help. I am going to use my existing cup wheels as a second set, was going to refurb them as a couple are badly in need of it but will get new turns or 2118s instead in the spring then get new tyres for them. Went for Michelin Alpin A4's from tyre leader.co.uk. Hopefully get fitted...
Closest I have found that are good -http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/michelin/alpin-a4/205-45-r16-87h-400363
So too high a load rating and H instead of V but correct width. Only going to use in winter when not on track or pushing the car hard so speed rating shouldn't be as important...
Even though I won't be anywhere near 130mph? I guess they are designed for sidewall strength etc. Can only find 205s in H for some reason.
And load rating should be 87?
Hi,
I am trying to find winter tyres of the 182, standard rs alloys. I can only find a good range in 195/45/16V or in 205/45/16H. Is there a massive problem with either of those options?
Cheers
Hi,
Just before I commit to a whole £3 can anyone confirm if these will fit the clio RS grill.

10X RENAULT CLIO LAGUNA MEGANE BUMPER & GRILLE TRIM FASTENERS RIVET CLIPS
Cheers,
A reasonable update with several photos of various bits and pieces.
Had the cambelt, aux belt, dephaser pulley and waterpump done due to a lack of any history and leaking water pump. Definitely runs better and makes me feel way more confident in the frenchie.
Received a re-trimmed steering...
Hi all. I have just replaced my front door speakers and tweeters with the Pioneer perfect fit Renault ones. Door ones were incredibly easy but tweeters did necessitate removing dash. Now sound mainly comes from tweeters with some bass from doors.
Had some passengers the other day and they...
Only a slight back step but those speakers look like they fit well. Really want to get rid of the rattle and not too expensive. Hidden upgrades are the best! How's the quality?
Looks good so far, wish mine was progressing more. Steering wheel is getting done right now, white for me too but with leather. Cant wait to get it, hate having a steering wheel cover on.
