The colour match looks pretty poor to be honest , unless it's just the pic . You need to build the paint up so it stands proud of the chip . If it's only a small chip or scratch you don't need any lacquer .
I've just done quite a big chip which was down to the primer on the top of my passenger...
Like ya say , you obviously use alot more water using my method , so it does run off the car alot quicker , but you can see if taking the dirt with it as it drips off . Tbh , i've only ever used snow foam a few times . I have a 5 litre bottle minus a few capfulls somewhere knocking about in my...
That's just with a weak dilution of shampoo and water , 25 litres and a couple of cap fulls of shampoo , compared to alot stronger mix you guys use with a snow foam lance .
In reality , is having an inch thick layer of foam on your car any better than the method i use ? At the end of the day...
Really ? Mine has plenty of power , good enough for cleaning moss etc off patios and is perfect for prewashing the car and high power foam . I've used this method for years and it's always shifted even the most stubborn caked on dirt .
If you don't want to shell out 40 quid for a foam lance , then do what i do . Get yourself a 25 litre home brew fermenting bucket ( approx 12 quid from a homebrew shop) , a length of hose into the bucket , fill up with warm water and snow foam / shampoo of your choice and you have lots and lots...
There is a huge post about the recall fix if you do a search . A letter was sent out in early 2013 to all MK2 Clio owners offering either a free check and free fix for those that were never done in the original recall back circa 2008 / 9 , other letters stated they would be checked and if any...
What car ? To be honest mate they can be a bit of tw4t to get out . You'd be better off taking it to a local garage or exhaust place who has an oxy acetylene bottle to heat it up first then remove it and refit your new one .
Prices vary depending on condition . Only one pic though , the wheel looks mint and unknown new tyres . I'd say it was a good price , just too far for me .
Not mine . But i saw them on Gumtree and thought they might be of interest to somebody on here .

As i'm not actually selling these , this might be in the wrong section so please feel...
Re: Rotarty price mistake
I got an email saying my order was still being processed . Yet when i checked my paypal last night I'd received a refund :( . Tbh , i didn't expect to receive it though .
@ ShaneA I've no experience of the Rainsport 3's as yet , been running Rainsport 2's though for a couple of years and they are excellent in the wet and dry , probably even better than the PE2's in the wet imo . Bearing in mind we live in a country with a pretty wet climate , most of the year...
There are 2 white plastic allen screws behind the lights , well there are 4 actually , but the 2 you can clearly see raise the lights up and down . Iirc you have to do it with the engine running or they will revert back to the original position if you do it with the engine off the next time you...
I think it looks absolute spot on that mate . Can't wait to see it fitted . Like a couple of others have said , I also prefer the OEM look with the thumb grips , but it doesn't make the wheel " terrible " lol , like someone has said :rasp: . As long as you're happy with it , that's all that...
It doesn't fill you full of confidence does it . He'd been waiting 8 weeks  for the car in the first place , to have the " new " engine fitted . It doesn't take 8 weeks to source another engine and have it fitted . He then gets the car and " bang " , that's the 2nd engine gone . I wonder...
Personally I'd want to know more about this " new " engine , where it's been sourced , has this one had the belts done , who by etc ......? 2 engines already gone titsup , sounds like this cars jinxed to me lol . Plenty for sale elsewhere , so if you haven't parted with any cash have a look around .
You can use a sky satellite dish just for freesat , using a sky receiver but you need a freesat card for the box . Or you could just get a sky package including broadband using one of the existing dishes , unless the previous occupiers were Italian or Polish , then the dishes would be pointed at...
You don't need an aerial if you want Virgin or Sky . You'll only need an aerial if you have built in freesat on your tv and you want to use that . What do the lnb ( co axial ) cables in your front room go outside to ? Is there no old , existing satellite dish ?
Try sliding the seat right back until it clicks into position , after the person has got into the back , then adjust with the handle underneath to the position required i.e. not squashing the persons legs in the back .
Ahhhh I see . It'll be a bit of a fiddly f*cker to paint I would imagine . If the paint runs down the side of the lettering it'll look crap . I can't see any easy way of masking it off to be honest to prevent that . Good luck lol .
theduck . Thank you for taking the time to clear that one up . I knew way back before the 182's arrived on the scene , when there were only 2 variants of the Ph2 172 , one being the Cup the other being a Normal 172 with all the toys it was referred to as a Full Fat , probably due to it's extra...
Actually , thinking back to the days before 182's . A None cup 172 , i.e. leather , xenons , climate control etc..... were called Full Fats . So really it could be called a Full Fat as it's not the cup version , but it just hasn't got any of the 2 cup packs . I think it was only when the 182's...
