    How to get sky working?

+1 Even with one cable cut , if the dish is aligned you'd get a picture on your tv . The 2nd cable is only so you can watch one tv channel while you record another .

    Mk2 side-strip removal - the things just won't budge!

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago . I wanted to change my bullets but 8 and half years of s**t was holding them on . I took the black grommets out and pushed the side strip through the hole with a screw driver so it was lifting it off the door slightly and at the same time pushed the...

How different are mondial and arctic blues?

I'm pretty sure i read a few months ago on CS , that someone had fitted an arctic blue 182 bonnet on a cup or a mondial bonnet and an arctic blue 182 , not sure which way round it was now , but they couldn't tell the difference . To me the Mondial blue always seems to look slightly less shiny...

    Clio sport 182 HID

Yeah that will fit , it's a D2S like chrisgti6 said . But why pay £75 for one bulb when you can get 2 bulbs for £10.50 ? I have the ones from hidsdirect and they are spot on . 4300k is oem , i went for the 5000k which are slightly whiter and brighter than oem .

    wheels and engine-bay makeover

Wheels not really my thing , but each to their own , individuality and all that . Engine bay looks so much better though , let down by the rusty engine mount/bolts though .

    need advice on my breaking

morris89 . Not the best introduction to a forum imo , saying you like to have " errrr have fun in it " and also that stating that you don't stick to the speed limit , you like to race other cars and then to top it off , you tell everyone that you crashed only a month after passing your test lol...

    Strange issue with my Trophy!

Mine didn't feel loose either to be honest . But with it only being 2 weeks old I wondered what the hell was going on . You wouldn't expect that with a car brand new car . It was only after reading on here about the temp sensor issue that i realised what the problem was . Fingers crossed for ya...

    Strange issue with my Trophy!

I see you've sorted the problem now . But i had exactly the same on my 182 when it was literally 2 weeks old . All it was , was a loose connector for the temp sensor . I gave it a bit of a wiggle and it went away and 8 years later it's never come back .

    182 Limp Mode

+1 . I wouldn't dream of buying a car that wasn't running right . Who's to say that there wouldn't be other , major problems in the near future . You could be potentially looking at a money pit . Look elsewhere , there are plenty for sale . It's no good having a car that looks good cosmetically...

Did 182 ever come with 15 inch wheels?

No, 182's only came with 16" wheels . Either in Anthracite part of the cup pack or silver non cup pack .

    Best 6000K xenon?

You want just the bulbs or the kit ? I have these 5000k bulbs which are very white and very bright , but they also do 6000k , 8000k etc ..... Not a fan of the blue ones though . http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/d2s-35w-hid-xenon-bulb-set/

    Rear right caliper problems

Could just be something as simple as the old handbrake cable for the right rear caliper has stretched . How was the handbrake " before " you replaced the discs ? Was it holding on the right rear before or maybe you never really checked so you don't know now ?

    Sensor 2 lamba sensor

Apparently this one fits and works from a recent post i read on here . Do a search and you'll see the thread . It's only £32.24 delivered . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221387024004?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

    idling

What people or maybe one person ? How can it " sound " like the spark plugs need changing ? Correct idle , when warm is 800rpm + or - 50 . If it's running fine , no misfires then i wouldn't bother . Spark plugs are supposedly good for 72k according to the service interval , although i did have...

    Brake pad question

The 1144's seem to squeal most when you're in slow moving traffic and you just touch the brakes , braking from higher speeds they didn't seem to squeal that much . @Paul.M Pulling up to traffic lights , junctions etc .... i felt like the whole world was looking they squealed that loudly lol .

    Brake pad question

I did intend to buy some more when i needed them , but I had a problem with a slightly seized caliper and one them wore down prematurely so i had to go to the local motor factors for some " emergency " brake pads as i needed them asap . Emissions Fail 182

Try swapping the precat lambda sensor with the post cat lambda sensor first . They are the same sensor but it's the precat lambda sensor that is the important one for fuelling . Detailing products - opinions on opening a shop

In my opinion it wouldn't be the best market to get into . The market place is already flooded with " online " detailing products . Personally I order pretty much everything i want online , except food and most of my clothes . It's just easier and convenient .
