I think you'll find, Ghostedition, that a lot of people on here patronise the traders who post on Cliosport because they are genuinely nice people, honest and helpful.
I've had help from some guys on here, whether it be by e-mail, text message, phone or by popping in to their respective garages...
If you go to any Total garage they will have Total QUARTZ 9000 fully synthetic 5w40 oil.
Its exactly the same as the ELF stuff.
£25 or so from garage if they have the 5litre on the shelf.
Good news Geddes.
Jessops can do you a sensor clean if you ask them.
Depends on your shop whether one of the guys will do it for you or they send it away.
Our local store is great, theyre very helpful, youll find that some of the proper "photography enthusiast" employees will have the manual...
Nice one.
I bought the Philips Extreme Vision plus 100%+ bulbs from your place last month and put them in the company car after n/s lamp blew.
Massive improvement particularly night time on unlit country roads such as 616/617.
They were £30, so your osram nighbreakers look attractive at £19.
I have used AG extra gloss protection in the past. Awful stuff to buff off, not a bad product though. £10
Moved on to Victoria Concourse, nice product, not too bad to remove. £20
Latest product of choice Raceglaze '55' - £70
Very nice look, smell, feel.
Application is easy and very smooth...
Maybe I'll put the spare white sidelights in that I had left from when I had the 172....
....whilst I'm cutting the skin off my knuckles lol ;)
Had a quick look at the space last night though and it looks a far cry from the tight gaps you have in the xenon'd cars.
I'll post up my thoughts after...
Hi Jim, must catch up with you soon mate. Pre xmas beer
Bumped into your mate Adam earlier, as i popped in for a new headlight bulb for the 182.
He was admiring the racing blue from the door and started chatting about his silver 182 and what a ba5tard the bulbs are to fit lol :)
Maser...
Get a sheet of 3000grit Megs wet and dry paper.
Spray liberally throughout the process and buff surface til you have removed the roughness.
Then buff with an abrasive polish to bring back the shine, preferably with machine polisher.
Re: Headlight lacquer on your 1*2 gone a bit "funny" ? very impressed with this ki
Good results there.
Mine have gone all crackly around the top edge, surface is rough to the touch, otherwise theyre very clear elsewhere.
I will just be wet sanding with a £2 sheet of Megs wet'n'dry and...
Big Alonso fan here.
I like the fact he is miserable and takes his job seriously.
Coolness is elevated by the above.
Compared to the likes of Vettel and hamilton he is a "proper" F1 driver, not just a goofy kid.
Its a new shaft.
£206 from Renault + fitting works out about £340 job lot.
Cheapo replacements from Eurocarparts or GSF are "made out of butter" to hear some people speak.
Spotted you on Sunday coming towards Hykeham roundabout past the LEXUS garage.
I was coming in the opposite direction bizarrely enough in a silver Honda Civic Type R (EP3)
I forgot I wasnt in my RB182 and gave you a flash of the headlights to which you waved back!!! :D:D
Anyone off here??
I have the Nikon 35mm f1.8 prime lens and its a cracker for sharpness, particularly between f2 - f4
This is a cheapish lens at only £180 but there are some red/green chromatic abberations in front and beyond the point of focus which can detract from the image at times.
Very lightweight and the...
Gave you a burst of two flashes going past the Monson Arms pub as you were heading to Tritton road and you acknowledged back, cool
I was in a racing blue 182 Cup :D
Anyone on here?
Nice.
Very close by was a Clio 200 in white with carbon fibre stripes down the bonnet.
Think this was one of the Renault World cars, smart looking guy got out of if, black trousers, white shirt, went in the Renault enclosure.
We had a decent day, especially as it was for free and you had grandstand tickets to stay out of the rain.
I only saw one RB 182 on Saturday, very low, near the RenaultSport tent in the centre.
And I saw a GW 200 pass me on the way back home J15 of M1.
Some pics:
Think this...
Yeah it was a good day tbh.
Bonus of seeing two or three good races and not only qualifying (as a lot of people tend to think) made the day enjoyable.
We missed the rain as we were sat up in the Becketts stand, nice and dry. :approve:
What was it like last year at Silverstone chaps??
Last time I went was when it was at Donington.
Rammed.
Whats the general admission parking like, dont know if I'll be going in the Clio or the Zonda. LOL
