what a load of crap! advice pls

The cup spoiler would be painted and fitted at the factory not the import centre . The only things fitted on entry into the UK were the alarms at the import centre and the splitter at the dealership . If your not happy with the deal walk away . Lots of 182's out there to choose from .

That'll be without chrome bulbs though ;)

    Sky TV Issue

^^^ I think you mean LNB ;) It could be as Griff says . Some of the less well known channels have a weaker signal .The dish might be slightly out of alignment so weaker channels will brake up especially during poor/cloudy weather . Or it could even be your LNB as coletti says . If it's...

Clio cup racer on ebay looks like a fun toy!

Looks sh!te if you ask me . And what's that airfilter all about  .Not only will it be sucking in lots of hot air it's tiny so i'd imagine would strangle the engine .

    Side repeaters

Trust me mate you would notice the orange bulb with those off ebay .They have a clear bit in the middle . Chrome / amber bulbs with clear side repeaters ftw .

    the cost of tyres!

Your wrong mate . £101 on mytyres is for W rated which you don't need . V rated are £87 ;)

    Side repeaters

Put a piece of masking tape underneath the lens so you don't scratch the paint , small screwdriver underneath the lens and pop it out .

    Side repeaters

They'll look sh!te with the orange bulbs . You might as well get orange lenses as well if your gonna go the orange bulb route . You need some chrome/amber bulbs as well . These are good quality . With aftermarket side repeaters you'll probably have to file a tiny piece off the back to make...

    cv gaiter/boot clip broken HELP

^^^ Knowsit . Thats all i did when mine snapped on my 172 , repack with grease and a big jubilee clip , job done . The original Renault clips are pretty weak and snap very easily . I cable tied over the clips on my new 182 as soon as i got it home just to be on the safe side ;)

    Cleaning K & N induction kit.

The oil is for dust retention , basically stops all the fine particles of shite going through the filter . You only need a fine coating of oil , no need to soak it through .
  20. MRBILLYUK

    Cleaning K & N induction kit.

Fairy liquid actually works ok if your just cleaning normal crap from the filter not grease or oil ;) Trust me , it's not something you can fcuk up , just make sure you rinse from the inside out .

    Cleaning K & N induction kit.

Do people really need a guide on how to clean a filter now , ffs

    Cleaning K & N induction kit.

Like i said , Autoglym engine and machine cleaner does the job just as well ;) plus you'll have loads left over compared to the small bottles of cleaner K+N sell ;)
  23. MRBILLYUK

    Cleaning K & N induction kit.

You can buy a kit for cleaning and re-oiling the filter . Personally i just spray mine with autoglym engine and machine cleaner on the outside and rinse under the tap from the inside then let to dry naturally . Then re-oil with k+n filter oil .

    Bleeding Brakes

^^^ Why would the 1*2's be any different ? If they do snap ,use a drill bit and stud extractor to get it out . You only need to nip them up , not swing on them . Like i said before , if you overtighten them you risk snapping the top off .Just use your common sense when tightening .
  28. MRBILLYUK

    Side Repeaters?

You can use the original bulb . I have the smoked repeaters with chrome/ amber bulbs from here : http://www.body-kit.co.uk/acatalog/renault_clio_mk2_side_repeaters.html

    Bleeding Brakes

Bleed nipples cost a few pence . As to the comment on always braking bleed nipples from dangerous dave , if that's the case , then you've tightenend them up too much in the first place . Chriscliomk1 , get yourself a haynes manual . It's easy , just make sure you keep topping up the brake...
