    Brake dust!!

You've probably got drums on the back so that's why they're cleaner than the front. Take the wheels off, clean them properly then seal them with wax/sealant/Gteqniq C5 etc. Check the detailing section for guides/information.

    Polariser lens filter... thingy.

Polarisors cut out horizontal light.. so sun glare etc are effectively deleted hence why you can see thru the screen as it is isn't there. Useful in landscapes and automotive on sunny days. Also sunglasses which are polarised are better when driving or fishing!

My attempt at star trails - didnt really work.

You wish, ScottdotTM. Learn to hyperlink properly, you banker. Did you cause NatWest's systems to crash ?! I bet you did. Anyway, OP (I don't know your name), give that a go and see what happens !

After new car speakers but need an additional bit of help!

You don't want co-ax speakers, you want component ones. Have you tried cutting the low frequencies to them in the head unit settings !?

My attempt at star trails - didnt really work.

Well.... http://www.docs.sony.com/release/DSLRA290.pdf Pg 112: Changing the noise reduction setting When you set the shutter speed to a second or longer (Long exposure shooting), noise reduction is turned on for the same duration that the shutter is open. This is to reduce the...

After new car speakers but need an additional bit of help!

Why do you need new speakers !? Are they blown ? If so, replace them with anything. The standard ones are more than adequate. You'll never get anything decent below 200Hz out of them (hence the sub), and the tweeters are in front of you pointing at ear level, which is where treble should...

After new car speakers but need an additional bit of help!

Ok. Well I would personally put the sub in the boot, put the 6x9s on ebay/the bin and adjust the settings so the door speakers do everything over 200Hz and let the sub take the rest.

My attempt at star trails - didnt really work.

It'll be a setting in the menus of your camera. Might be 'advanced' somewhere as it's not something your average Joe would probably use.

After new car speakers but need an additional bit of help!

6x9s are very "1998". There is no point at all if you have a sub as they're all trying to work the same volume of air (in your boot). So - Have you replaced the head unit...?

Have you replaced the head unit before you worry about speakers ?! Pop the speaker cover off and measure the cone.

My attempt at star trails - didnt really work.

As the good Doctor says - knock the noise reduction off - up the exposure time to compensate for the low ISO. Read up on how to take photos :P Exposure triangle for example would be a good place to start. http://digital-photography-school.com/learning-exposure-in-digital-photography

    Own a 7D? Look inside...

Odd that they've announced it, as it's still 2 months away... Possibly due to Nikons new 'cheap' full frame ?! Not sure on the in camera editing though... not something I'd imagine someone with a 7 would use/need very often.

My attempt at star trails - didnt really work.

Focus probably was far too close in each pic. Shoot RAW.. get a programmable remote. What are the stats on each pic (Just tell me one - I assume they'll all the be the same ;) ). Why was the camera processing things ?! There is a star trails thread somewhere... *...

low and slow ;) (teaser pics)

Wolfrace ? Dear me. Should have asked an engineering firm to knock you up some wheels to your own spec made from iron. They'd be lighter and probably better looking. Why have you got most of the same pictures repeated twice ?! Car still looks awful too.

    general lens

You'll be surprised how short 135mm actually is.. especially if you're used to 300mm ! Perhaps a Canon 55-250 will almost do all of what you want, however it's not 'that' wide. Then again you could probably get a 350/400d body for £2-300 and just use 2 cameras with your current lenses ?

    Da polisher for hire!?

For an extra £60 you can buy your own one... You've gotta buy the pads and polish anyway...you won't get thru a full bottle (you shouldn't....) of polish or even get half way thru using up a pad on one car.
