Lowering springs on standard (old) shocks normally leads to problems as the stock shock isn't designed to work at that height.

7. Clean inside, outside is polished and sealed so that'll do 'til winter. Don't go to shows, always sideways in the snow, bikes on the roof, stuff in the boot. Comfy cruiser and angry rally car when needed.
The timing 'could' be out if it feels slow compared to other RS Clios !? Is it completely standard ? When were the belts last done ? How many miles and how old's the car ?
These things do have more of a kick between 5 and 7k. Max power should be around 6.6k...

Ignition off .. hold the button on the end of the LH stalk in .. ignition on (don't start engine). All the clocks should dance, click the button now to scroll through until it says 8L or however much you have left in the tank, as it thinks.
