I bought a bridge camera a few years back and have now got kit worth comfortably more than...
Plenty of decent proper reviews online for camera stuff ;) dpreview etc..
I'd go with the IS, especially as I'm assuming you're a Noob to this ? Both the Canon 18-55mm ?
Go for a 500/550d if you can stretch.. generally advised by folk on here that it's a much better camera.
Needed to tow a vehicle with my car the other day, wanted to get a towing bar but Halfords had none in stock so had to get a rope.
It did the job but it was an awful experience !
They're still out of stock so I've looked online and found a couple of options. Opinions needed from anyone...

Yeah, one of those ;)
Pass... Never had a problem with mine. It should say on the lid of the box under the bonnet, and on the cover of the one inside the cabin.
Nowt to do with the car.. it's the person in charge ;) It would have happened if you were driving your Nan's Micra if the circumstances were the same (speed etc) too.
Never mind. Live and learn... You're OK.. the car could be worse... don't worry about it ! Look at getting some winter tyres...
