me and a few other people have been running de-cats for almost 3months now, not a flicker of the emmisions light! :D I think it really is pot luck if it comes on or not I still have 3 de-cat pipes left from a group-buy I organised, PM me if interested?

Makes me more worried about my cam timing now LOL... Only the cam timing tool was used on my belt change, that was 8months ago. But all "feels" fine? Is their any easy way of checking if the cam timing is incorrect?

Wrong.. Inlet maifold - part with "RENAULT SPORT" on.. Plenum chamber - part with fuel rail / injectors attached, plenum bolts onto the head of the engine The 182 has a different breather set up to the 172.

you sure its not blowing Rob ;) Mine is near silent, even with the de-cat when under normal driving conditions? I've actually got a brand new oval Magnex s/s system sitting in the garage now, ordered for somebody who decided he then did not want it ggrr!

as said above you really need a different set of cams to get near the magical 200 mark.. with basic breathing mods and a remap you could reach anything between 170 - 180 bhp

I am in the same situation... Went to Renualt last week, what a mess about!! "right sir we need the car in to get the VIN number reg details etc., then we need proof you own the vehicle.. log book?!?! and the charge is £15 + vat" *sigh* All for a 4 digit code lol!

From what I remember there are no real gains to be had by doing this, as they are pretty much spot on with the engine ports

Cheapest place for these filters is Merlin Motorsport iirc.. they do a little CS discount if you ask nicely ;)
