no, it's a specialist job. I wouldn't let a maindealer touch it. Ordered my locking tools through a main dealer and they struggled to find them on the parts database, so they asked the workshop and they didn't appear to even have a set
Bearings look perfect. I'd say it's a pretty big waste of time to do a rebuild and not replace them though.
The sealer is liquid gasket. Be generous with it, and make sure you add some into the bottom corners of the block where that bearing cap fits to. This is where they ALL leak from after...
did you change the lower aux belt idler?
it's not actually unusual for there to be a bit of a belt whine, the aux belt is very long and in contact with a lot of different pulleys, all with a resistance behind them
on the F4R? not necessary to go quite that far, but the lower cambelt cover (and upper to meake it easier), aux tensioner, and in turn a few bits and pieces need to come off
that looks like a pre lowering picture.....surely???
sportlines are listed as 25mm to the best of my knowledge, but i'm sure that eevry set i've fitted in the past goes lower than that
